Toby gripped the glass tightly and then immediately let go. “Have you ever thought about it properly though? You’ve

been separated for nine years, and she may have started a family long ago.”

Leo froze at that. He really hadn’t thought about this at all.

“You might ruin her marriage and family by going here. You won’t be treating her well but ruining her instead.”

Toby’s voice came over again coldly.
