Chapter 220
Patricia could feel her feet slowly warming up, as well as the temperature of his palms. Seeing her
shivering in the cold, Isaac settled her on the seat before placing her feet onto his core.
She looked up in surprise. "Isaac, it's cold."
She wanted to withdraw her legs, for she could not imagine how cold and dirty they were. A neat freak
like him would not be able to stand it.
He held her feet firmly. "Don't move."
Her feet lay closely to his toned stomach, which felt warm. Her face flushed as her heart skipped a beat
at that.
She sneaked a peek at Isaac, whose well-defined side profile was drowned by the dim light. She
suddenly realized how kind this handsome man was. Not only did he muffled her feet, he also warmed
her heart.

that it was a renowned private hospital in Asgard. Despite the costly medical bills, it possessed the
most advanced medical resources and team in the whole world.
A tad of relief settled in her as she knew that Sylvie would be treated by the best medical staff, but she
might not be able to pay for the medical bills.
Soon, Liam handed a pair of shoes through the window and Patricia expressed her appreciation,
"Thank you, Mr. Dorchester."
He looked at Isaac, who placed her feet under his shirt. He expected nothing less from his boss as no
one could beat Isaac in terms of being a loving partner.
Liam reciprocated, "You should be thanking President Arnold. He asked me to buy them."
She turned to gaze at Isaac with pursed lips and the glint in her eyes changed.
"Thank you, President Arnold." After saying that, Patricia withdrew her legs when he let her go. She
seated herself properly and tipped her feet into the shoes.
"Are you hurt?" The blood stain covering her was appalling.
She shook her head. "I'm fine. Don't worry."
As soon as she wore her shoes, Patricia quickly opened the car door to check on Sylvie's condition.
Isaac followed suit and the couple walked abreast into the hospital.
The nurse at the reception desk noticed him and hurriedly welcomed them. "President Arnold."
"Where's the little girl? She's been sent over a moment ago."
Immediately, the nurse checked the patient list before answering, "She's in Room 1206."
Patricia was stunned momentarily. "Doesn't she need any emergency aids or surgeries?"
The nurse perused the record on the monitor again. "Sylvie only has scratches on her head. We
bandaged the wound and she should be having an IV drip right now."
"Thank you!" replied Patricia.
Now that she knew Sylvie was alright, a wave of relief washed over her. She was so worried that she
punched Blake without pulling back her fists.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmWhen they entered the patient room on the twelfth floor, she thought it was more like a child's room
instead of a patient room. In that warm-tone themed space, there were a handful of puppets and laced
curtains.
Not only did the couch have cartoons printed on it, even the bed was princess-themed!
Patricia finally understood why the hospital bills here were expensive. With such an environment in
addition to the top-notch medical team, it was reasonable for its cost to go over the roof.
She scurried toward the bed where Sylvie was lying in a comfortable hospital gown with a bandage
around her head. While receiving an IV drip, she was sleeping soundly.
Scott and Stellan, who sat on the couch, approached Patricia when they saw her.
"Mommy, don't worry. Sylvie only has scratches on her head and limbs. She's not seriously hurt
elsewhere," recounted Stellan before he patted her shoulder.
"Shouldn't you get a check-up for yourself?" It worried them to see her covered in blood.
Scott walked to Isaac's side and glanced at him coldly. "Thank you for helping tonight, Uncle Isaac. It's
getting late, so you should get going."
