At that moment, the pilot asked, “Mr. Cedric, should we take off now?”
He looked at Maia and said, “You should ask her instead.”
The co–pilot and pilot just smiled knowingly.
“Ms. Maia, can we take off now?”
“Please give me a minute. Jordan, we’re taking off now. I’ll be back in Prismara in a few hours. Let’s meet at my mother’s grave,”
Maia said.
“Sure, I was just about to suggest that. I can finally tell her that we’ve found her murderer!” Jordan added firmly.
Maia bid Jordan farewell and hung up. She turned toward the pilot and nodded her head.
Minutes later, the helicopter took off and flew toward Prismara.
The next day, when Aiken got home after he finished his shooting, he saw the news about Maia. He was so upset and
proceeded to call Maia immediately. Unfortunately, her phone was
turned off.
He continued to send a few text messages to her but still, there was no reply.

Aiken hung up without giving Jordan a chance to reply as he sped toward Starlight Entertainment. When he got there, the
