Maia involuntarily raised her head. When their eyes met, his profound gaze resembled a terrifying black hole, as if it could engulf

During Maia’s hospital stay, Cedric accompanied her. It wasn’t until the day of her discharge. that she saw Tess and Errol at the
hospital entrance.
Spotting Errol, Maia quickly waved and called out, “Errol!”
