Layla, her vision blurred by her tears, pointed her little finger at Elliot who was in the kitchen.
When Mike saw Elliot, he was stunned. “Why are you here? Is it dark already? Bloody hell! Did I sleep the entire day
away?! Impossible!”
Avery took a piece of tissue to wipe Layla’s tears. “Layla, what did you just say? Who kissed you?” Avery did hear
her clearly.
