Chapter 348 The Purpose Is to Kill Him

"Alexa, Alexa!"

Keyon panicked and rushed out of the ward with her in his arms.

"Go find the doctor!" he ordered his men resolutely.

Alexa's lower back and wound hurt... She cried in Keyon's arms and trembled in great pain.

She said in a choked voice, "Keyon, it hurts. It really hurts..."

"I'm with you. I'll stay by your side! Don't be afraid, Alexa. The doctor will come soon," Keyon said

anxiously and ran fast.

As soon as he said that, another man rushed over and stopped him.

Terrence reached out to take Alexa away. Keyon suddenly felt nothing in his arms and forgot to put his

hands down.

"Alexa, I'm here."

Terrence said in a calm voice and quickened his pace to take her to the operating room.

"Terrence, you are here..."

Alexa was too weak to speak. She reached out unconsciously, wanting to put her arms around his neck

as she usually did.

But she failed in the end.

Just as Terrence placed her on the emergency bed, Christina arrived with her assistants.

"There is a sign of heavy bleeding. We need immediate surgery. Leave her to us."

As Alexa's mother, Christina was very worried.

But at the critical moment, she must calm down.

Many years ago, a patient's surgery failed because of her mistake.

Over the past few years, she had been trying to use the scalpel again, but still failed to overcome her

mental problem.

But now the person lying in the operating room was her daughter Alexa.

Christina calmly walked into the sterilizing room and prepared for the surgery in an orderly way.

This time, she didn't trust anyone else except herself.

The door of the operating room was slowly closed, leaving Terrence alone outside.

Terrence watched as the anxious medical staff disappeared behind the door. He fell silent and stood

alone against the wall.

Keyon walked over and suddenly wanted to smoke.

"Where is Irvin?" Terrence asked in a cold voice.

Keyon answered indifferently, "In the sick room. They used a high dosage, so I think he should be

unconscious for a few days."

Terrence and Irvin suddenly reached a consensus at the same time.

Although it might be disgraceful to do anything to Irvin when he was unconscious, Terrence did not care

for the sake of Alexa.

"Do you know the whereabouts of Finley?"

"Just a little bit." Keyon kicked the chair in frustration. "The family head deliberately covered up the

news. It seems that he doesn't want to let Finley go.".

Keyon was confused about it.

He didn't know why his father trusted an outsider like Irvin so much.

Scott didn't even care about Alexa's life.

The affairs of the Duran family were too complicated, and Terrence did not

intend to get involved.

He turned around and stared at the indicator light in the operating room,

feeling extremely upset.

"I'll go out and have a cigarette."

Keyon said in a deep voice and turned to leave.

When he passed by Irvin's ward, he happened to meet the nurses who came

to change Irvin's dressing.

"How is he today?"

"Mr. Duran, the drug in Mr. Niebergall's body has not been completely metabolized. He will probably

wake up in two days."

Keyon thought, two days?

He was expressionless and left the inpatient building without a word.

Alexa suffered so much for Irvin's sake, but he just needed to be in a coma

for two days. Keyon thought it was unfair.

He then made a phone call and directly ordered.

"Increase the dosage and let him stay in bed for a month."

Just as he hung up, he saw Scott walking toward him.

He put out the cigarette in his hand and respectfully called to Scott,

"Father."

"I heard that you plan to send Giselle back?"

"Yes," Keyon said indifferently. "She made a mistake, and I can't forgive her."

"It's not a big deal. You got married for the two families. Just turn a blind

eye to it."

"My sister is still lying in the operating room."

Keyon raised his voice, his face stamped with hostility.

"I don't even know if she can survive!"

When saying these words, he felt brokenhearted.

"I know that. Your mother will save her. She'll be okay. Don't worry." Scott

remained very calm.

"Father, you know the whereabouts of Finley."

Keyon asked directly, "Why can't you hand him over to me?"

Speaking of this, Scott showed an ambiguous attitude.

"He is just an ordinary doctor. There are many more outstanding people

than him. You can find someone else to replace him." Scott's face darkened

a little.

"Do you hate Finley?"

Scott felt more dissatisfied when hearing this sharp question.

"Alright, that's enough. I don't want to mention the Finley thing anymore."

After Scott left, Keyon clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned

white.

Suddenly, he received a call.

"Mr. Duran, we found Finley!"

Keyon immediately rushed to the old attic on the west side with no

hesitation.

At the door of the dark basement, the iron chains as thick as wrists were

forcibly cut.

A musty smell permeated the air, and the cracking of insects was heard when Keyon and his men

stepped on them.

The ancestors of the Duran family used the place to imprison the traitors to the family. The place had

been closed for over a hundred years.

The group of people walked to the inner room and saw the figure curling up

on the ground.

Finley had passed out without eating and drinking for three whole days as if

he had no vital signs.

He was bound by many chains, with wounds covering his body, some of

which even started to become inflamed.

"He was whipped," a follower said.

Keyon felt Finley's pulse and was relieved.

"He's not dead yet. Take him out," he ordered calmly.

"It might be inappropriate for you to do that, Mr. Duran?"

An eerie male voice sounded. Keyon looked back and instantly recognized

the man in front of him.

He was Owen Jefferson, who worked for Jovan.

The elite mercenaries Owen brought filled the narrow aisle, not giving

Keyon and his men any chance of escaping.

Keyon thought, it seems we fell into a trap!

Owen took a few steps forward. "The man is now under our control. No one

is allowed to take him away. Mr. Duran, you should think carefully whether

you want to become enemies with Mr. Clough." Keyon thought, this is the Duran's place. How dare

Jovan do that?

"I had wanted to let you go, but you've found out that Finley is here." Owen

pretended to be in a difficult situation. "I'm afraid you can't leave here easily."

"I must take him away."

"Is that so?"

Owen casually glanced at Keyon and made eye contact with the person

beside him.

"Do it."

With the order, a chaotic fight broke out.

Keyon was the best among the elite, so he knocked Owen's men out easily.

But Owen suddenly took out a dagger and evilly approached Finley.

He raised his hand to kill Finley, and the dull stabbing sound made by the

dagger was heard.

Owen frowned and looked at the person in front of him in shock.
