Chapter 961 Disrespect
The more the family discussed, the more they opined not to bother with Elisa's threat because they did
not believe that Elisa would snatch their shares away. As such, they became fearless.
Soon, the three days lapsed. When Elisa called Norman, the latter picked up the phone with a sulky
look. "Hello."
Elisa's cold voice emerged. "Have you come to a decision?"
Norman's face darkened even more as he detested Elisa's hostile and rude attitude – she did not even
address him.
He answered calmly, "You're still too young to own the shares. Moreover…"
Before he could finish his sentence, Elisa interrupted, "This is your last chance. Since you don't

Norman snorted. "How merciless can you be?"
"You should be aware of what I'll do next, and you shall bear the consequence of your decision.
Goodbye." With that, Elisa hung up the call.
Norman's temples jolted. He thought Elisa would continue threatening him and did not expect her to
hang up resolutely.
Could she be up to something else?
After hesitating for a while, Norman called Rose. His brain could not function now, so he needed
someone to discuss the matter with.
However, given the current situation, most of his supporters had realized something was off and had
changed sides. Some even disregarded him. So, Norman knew he could only rely on his family.
Rose answered the call in no time. After hearing Norman describing his conversation with Elisa, she
frowned and said, "This might be her trick. You will fall into her trap if you start panicking."
Norman's expression turned ghastly as he cursed through gritted teeth, "D*mn it, this rascal!"
How dare she fool around with me!
"Calm down. You must not lose your cool at this moment because that's exactly her intention. Since
she's waging psychological warfare, let's ignore her first and let her kick up a fuss as she pleases. Just
go to work as usual."
Norman did not respond as Rose continued, "Don't skip meetings because you think it's embarrassing.
Otherwise, it'll benefit her. Who knows, she might be planning some schemes with the others while you
are not around."
"I know. I'll definitely attend the meetings. Even though she has snatched away my position, I have to

"Mm-hmm. You're right."
With that, they ended the call.
Norman remained engulfed by frustration. Since he lost his position as the chairman, he did not have
many agendas to attend to and became idle.
This worsened the situation as he had no distractions to alleviate his annoyance.
Meanwhile, Linda was enraged in her office too. She was unaware of her parents' conversation just
now. All that was on her mind was how to destroy Elisa.
Ever since her enmity toward Elisa was accentuated, she did not realize the times Elisa occupied her
mind was multiple times more than that of Gareth.
