Chapter 207 Not expecting such a move from Patricia, Alex froze in place.
Patricia was extremely shy afterward and said, "Alex, thank you for your gift. This is the best birthday I've ever had." As she spoke, she pulled her phone out and said, "I want to take a few photos and send them to my parents. They'll be happy to see them as well." Something flashed across Alex's eyes as he hummed his agreement.

Looking up, Mandy shot back, "Why?" After a few seconds, she changed her question, "Why should we be the ones who change places?" Tiffany wanted to say, "I'm scared you won't be able to eat anything if we stay here." Seemingly knowing what Tiffany was thinking, Mandy smiled and flipped through the menu as she insisted, "We're paying customers, and I want to eat here. Why should I leave just because they're here." With that said, she waved the waiter over and ordered a few dishes.
Their conversation must've attracted Patricia's attention as she turned back to take a look at them. Then, she stood up.
When she saw Mandy, anxiousness washed over her face. It was as though she had run into her mortal enemy. She called out, "Ms. Stewart?" Mandy didn't put on a front. Instead, she smiled at Patricia and greeted, "Hi. What a small world for us enemies to meet each other in a place like this." Patricia froze. Enemies? It was evident that Patricia was nervous and rather afraid of Mandy.
Alex said, "Trishia, sit down and let's eat." He was implying that Patricia did not need to pay any attention to Mandy. Patricia glanced at Mandy once more before sitting back down.
Mandy turned back as well, looking relatively calm.
After a moment of silence, someone at the neighboring table received a video call request.

Patricia sat over and then held her phone up to greet her parents, "Dad, Mom." "Trishia... Alex is with you, right? It's your birthday tonight. Have you eaten cake to celebrate?" "I have. Alex has takento a high-end restaurant. He even gavea birthday gift," said Patricia, lifting her necklace. "Look, isn't this necklace pretty?" "It looks good. We can be at ease knowing that you're there to take care of Trishia, Alex." Alex replied, "Don't worry, I'll take care of Trishia." "I heard Trishia say that you're doing well in Chilburg. You've even bought a car and a house... Alex, you're not young anymore. When you're free you and Patricia should start planning your wedding. After you do, it'll justify the two of you living together. We'll also be less worried." When their wedding was mentioned, Tiffany saw blood drain from Mandy's face. Putting down her cutlery, Mandy stood up and announced, "I'm going to the washroom." After she left, Alex responded, "Trishia's still young. We're not in a hurry."
Her parents did not continue pressuring them into marriage and changed the topic. After a few minutes, they hung up.
Patricia put her phone on the table and stood up. "Alexx'm heading to the washroom. "Alright."
Tiffany watched Patricia leave.
Suddenly, a figure stood in front of Afigure her. It was Alex. He asked directly, "Ms. Lloyd, did Mandy follow us here?"
