Chapter 5621
Darryl's eyes lit up at the sight of Heather as he could not help but exclaim, "You’ve only
gotten prettier in the days we haven't seen each other, Heather."
Heather flushed bashfully at the compliment, joy aflutter in her chest.
Darryl's gaze fell onto the baby in Heather's arms as they spoke. He stopped short before
his expression darkened." This baby..."
As he spoke, a lump formed in Darryl's throat, stopping him from speaking any further.
The baby was fair and plump with lively eyes that bore an uncanny appearance to
Morticia's.
Blood was thicker than water, and Darryl knew without asking that the baby was
Morticia's.
Everyone could not help but sigh all at once at the look on Darryl's face, their expressions
turning melancholy.
Following that, Chester strode forward to say to Darryl, "This is your baby. God, what a
hard life he's had to live. It was just a while ago that this baby caused a huge
misunderstanding between Ambrose and Heather..."
As the words rang through the air, Ambrose and Heather's expressions flushed with

Darryl nodded, his emotions unreadable as he took the baby in his arms and pressed him
to his chest. His mind flashed with images of Morticia's tragic death, and his chest
throbbed with resentment and rage.
‘Oh, Morticia. Why were you so silly to be so loyal to Antigonus when it was clear he didn't
trust you anymore?'
Just then, Heather paused before saying, "Uncle Darryl, the baby doesn't have a name yet.
Now that you're back, why don't you give him one?"
As she spoke, Heather could not help but reach out to caress the baby's head.
The baby's mother had died before he could even learn to speak. Since his father had
returned, there was hope in him not having to live such a tragic life anymore.
Darryl nodded silently, pondering briefly before speaking." Let's name him Shay."
Morticia was no longer alive and Antigonus could not be any better off. The baby had
Fiend race blood in him, and he could be considered the last of the Fiend race's hope.
Upon naming the baby, Darryl cooed at him for a while before handing him over for
Heather to care for him. Following that, everyone returned to the main hall.
A few minutes later, a sumptuous feast was laid out under Chester's preparations.
Everyone gathered at the table, wining and dining as joy and laughter filled the air.
A thought came to Ambrose after he had had a few glasses, and he turned to ask Darryl,
"Oh, right! Father, is it true that you have a friend from the Godly Region who goes by the
name Sir Au?"
As the words rang through the air, Chester and Dax's gazes fell onto Darryl as well.
Sir Au?
Darryl stopped short, not answering. Instead he asked, "Sir Au who?"
Ambrose and the rest exchanged glances at his response before answering, "Heather and I
ran into a man who called himself Sir Au when we rescued the baby from a mountain at
the Hidden Hero Sect main altar. He said that the two of you returned to the Nine
Continents together from the Godly Region but ran into an accident on the way that split
the both of you apart."
Following that, Ambrose pondered briefly before continuing, "There were a few ferocious
beasts that appeared alongside him when he showed up."
He then proceeded to describe the beasts' appearances.

It appeared that the Garans were not the only beings that were sent over from the Godly
Region. There was also a man named Sir Au.
'Sir Au, Sir Au...’
At the thought, Darryl's gaze flashed as he thought of Prince Auten at once.
'F*ck... it couldn't be him, could it?'
"Darryl!"
At the look on his face, Chester could not help but ask," What's going on? Do you have
something to say about this Sir Au?"
Darryl took a deep breath, smiling before saying, "The beasts that Ambrose ran into are
called Garan beasts. They're special spirit creatures only found in the Godly Region. As for
Sir Au, I've got a pretty good idea of who he is. He's not my friend at all. He's Prince Auten
taking on another person's body." ’
What? Prince Auten?
Everyone stopped short, staring at Darryl in confusion.
Darryl did not hide anything and proceeded to tell everyone who Prince Auten was and
what grievances he had with Darryl.
Upon finding out the truth, everyone's expressions shifted.
