Chapter 5535
"Quick, run!"
Debra took the chance to grab Rachelle's hand, turning in the direction of the hills behind
the Hidden Hero Sect.
"Trying to run?"
The soldiers came to their senses, crying out and rushing forwards.
Debra was beside herself with panic at the sight, all while being worried. This was because
she could clearly sense that Rachelle was completely drained, and ready to keel over at
any second.
What was she going to do?
Debra wanted nothing more than to bring Rachelle into the underground tunnel as they
passed by the forbidden grounds. Yet the soldiers were too close, and they would only
result in exposing the location of the underground tunnel and putting Chester and the rest
in danger, i
Debra could only grit her teeth at the thought, soaring further with Rachelle in tow.
A few minutes later, Debra's strength gave out and she landing onto the ground holding

All that could be seen was a cliff, where the drop below it led into a deep abyss.
To tell the truth, Debra knew that they were not too far from the Hidden Hero Sect. The
abyss was near bottomless, and filled with endless dangers unknown to anyone. All
anyone knew was that the Hidden Hero Sect had sent a few elites to scope it out, and
none of them had returned.
Thus, the abyss had been marked off as a forbidden ground.
Debra smiled bitterly at the sight of it, her gaze filling with hopelessness.
How had she gotten here? Was this really her fate? It was going to be near impossible to
escape death today.
Just then, the soldiers had reached them. They saw the abyss holding the pair back, and
could not help but burst out laughing.
"Hey, why aren't you running anymore?" "No escape now, I see."
The soldiers gripped their swords, inching closer and closer.
Debra took a deep breath at the sight. She turned to ask Rachelle what she thought they
should do- only to find that Rachelle had fallen unconscious, her eyes tightly shut.
It was obvious that the escape had used up the last of Rachelle's energy, and her body
had completely given out.
Debra grew unexpectedly calm at the sight. Her gaze flashed with determination, and she
held Rachelle in her arms as she fell backwards, and off the cliff.
Debra seemed like a gentle lady, but had a will strong as steel.
Since there was no way out, she might as well try her luck. Dying from the fall was much
better than dying at the hands of these soldiers, anyways.
The soldiers' expresions shifted at the sight of Debra leaping off the cliff. They rushed to
the edge and looked down, only to be greeted with a faceful of fog and no sign of the two
women.
All at once, the soldiers were unbelievably outraged.
"F*ck, she jumped off..." "They're dead for sure though, after such a steep fall with close
to no energy left in them."
Just as the soldiers were murmuring amongst themselves, Master

Magaera couuld be seen leading the other soldiers over at a rapid pace.
"Where are they?"
Master Magaera's face darkened at the sight of the pacing soldiers.
The soldiers exchanged uneasy glances for a while, before one of them finally stepped
forward to say in a small voice, "Master Magaera... the two ladies jumped off the cliff. We
couldn't stop them."
Jumped off?
Just then, Master Magaera stopped short before roaring angrily, "Well, what are the lot of
you doing here, then? Get down there, and don't come back unless you have them."
Master Magaera was going to explode from fury then. How had they managed to let two
mere ladies escape?
What a disgrace to the Godly Region.
The soldiers jerked in terror at Master Magaera's tone before nodded in assent, soaring off
the cliff and heading downwards.
Master Magaera's expression did not shift as his rage was still very much present as he
said coldly to the other soldiers, "The rest of you, search the forbidden grounds of the
Hidden Hero Sect at once. We must find that underground tunnel."
As he spoke, Master Magaera's fists were clenched as his eyes blazed murderously.
"Yes..."
