Chapter 5379
What?
Zacho and Sam got a shock as they saw Adam come to his senses suddenly.
'How... How could this be?'
Adam had already entered a psychotic break, and Sam had also landed a heavy blow
against his core. How could he be completely fine, and even come to his senses?
What both men did not know then was that the Art of Grand Brightness did not only hold
the power of the flame shadow, but it operated in a manner that was completely different
from most cultivation methods.
Most cultivation methods, once having entered a psychotic break and suffering a harsh
blow to the core, would result in the cultivator's death without a doubt.
However, the Art of Grand Brightness was an exception. Under the circumstances of
entering a psychotic break, attacking the core would not only help the cultivator escape
death, but actually heal them. ’
In other words, Zacho and Sam had not only saved Adam's life, but they had also brought
him back to his senses.
At last, Zacho responded as he stared in shock at Adam." You... How are you completely
fine?"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHe was completely unharmed after a fatal blow to the core.
It was unbelievable.
Ho ho...
Adam moved slowly, stretching out his muscles as he smiled. "You want me dead that bad,
Master Zacho?"
As he spoke, Adam seemed to realize something as he said, "I know now. You're still not
over how that guardian from the True Flame Sect killed one of your elders hundreds of
years ago. I can't believe the North Sea Galaxy would hold onto a personal grievance as if
it was a targeted act of treason.
"It's no wonder the both of you saw that I was entering a psychotic break, and wanted to
push me to the very end. Too bad the cultivation methods of the True Flame Sect are
vastly different from normal cultivation methods. What's supposed to kill will heal me
instead. You wanted to take me down, but instead helped me out of entering a psychotic
break."
As he spoke, Zacho's mocking expression was nothing but smug.
F*ck...
Zacho and Sam stopped short at the words, their brands buzzing.
That was the case.
The next second, Sam returned to his senses as his eyes blazed in a crazed manner. "You
just got lucky. There's nothing to be smug about. I refuse to believe you can do much after
just having almost entered a psychotic break." As the final word rang through the air,
Zacho drew his long sword as he exploded at full force, charging in the direction of Adam's
chest. i
Sam's expression was nothing but crazed then. He had always wanted to do well in front
of his master, but he had never gotten the chance to do so. Since he had the chance, he
wanted to take the opportunity to do as much, but he did not expect that Adam would be
completely fine.
On top of that, Sam had a temper. How could he withstand watching Adam mock his
master?
"Sam, don't..."
Zacho's expression shifted at the sight as he cried out in shock, rushing forward to stop
Sam. Adam was the strongest person the True Flame Sect had seen in a thousand years
with unpredictably terrifying skills. How could Sam be any match for him?
It was all too late.
Ho ho...
Adam sneered coldly at the sight of Sam charging over. "A nobody like you is trying to

As the words rang through the air, Adam raised his right hand.
In the blink of an eye, a deep red flame materialized in his palm before hurtling in Sam's
direction.
The flame appeared to move slowly, but reached Sam in a matter of seconds. The long
sword melted in an instant, lighting Sam ablaze as well.
"Argh!"
The pain was instant as Sam let out an agonized cry, howling at Zacho in a tone full of
terror.
"Master... Mas... ter..."
As he screamed, the flames continued to envelope his body.
Within less than ten seconds, Sam went completely silent. He had turned into ashes,
drifting off into the distance.
"Sam..."
Zacho was heartbroken at the sight, crying out in grief before fixing Adam with a deadly
stare full of venom.
Adam smirked. "What's wrong? Sad you lost your best pupil, Master Zacho? How is it fine
and dandy for you to want to kill me, but an act of evil if I return the favor? Doesn't sound
too fair, doesn't it?"
