Chapter 5332
The second her feet touched the water, Rachelle stared at the water with a look of fierce
concentration as her chest protested helplessly.
She had lived a life of luxury as the holy nun of the True Flame Sect. It meant that she had
tasted her fair share of delicious fish, but she knew nothing about catching it.
What made things harder was that there was no way she could use her powers to do it, so
she could only go with traditional fishing methods.
Rachelle grew increasingly helpless as she pondered, but she had no choice as she could
not reveal her identity. All she could do was grit her teeth as she paced around in the
stream, trying her best to catch the fish.
Unfortunately, she did not know how to do it at all, and she missed a fish right before her
eyes again and again. Her long dress slowly became drenched from all the missed
splashes.
Just then, the moon shone a dim glow onto the ground.
Under the moonlight, Rachelle's soaked dress clung to her body, highlighting her
breathtaking curves completely.

Darryl could not help but marvel to himself at the sight.
What a beauty.
It was a shame that someone so beautiful and charming did not have the sense to stay
put where she was supposed to be and instead chose to put on a show like that to him.
At the thought, Darryl sat by a grassy patch near the stream as he took in the view before
him.
The two were almost twenty meters apart, and it was nighttime. Rachelle could clearly
feel Darryl's gaze, and her skin prickled uncomfortably. To hide her identity, she could not
cause a scene.
Darryl was not done. After seeing Rachelle struggle with catching a fish for a while to no
avail, he could not help but chuckle, "It's been quite some time, lady. Why haven't you
caught a single fish? Are you lying to me? You don't come from a family of fishermen, do
you?"
As he spoke, Darryl's tone was nothing but warm, but his gaze flashed sharply.
Rachelle panicked all at once, scrambling to explain herself.
"No... Please don't get the wrong idea, Sir. I didn't lie to you at all. I really did come from a
family of fishermen. I grew up fishing with my family all my life, but... but we mostly fish in
the daytime. It's a little late now..."
It was unclear whether Rachelle was too nervous, or if the stream was too slippery, but
Rachelle lost her footing and fell into the stream altogether, drenching her completely.
Darryl was amused at the sight despite his gaze darkening slightly.
'What a stubborn woman this lady is. She's still trying to keep the act up at a point like
this.'
At the thought, Darryl said to a humiliated Rachelle, "That's quite alright.
Come on, I'll do it. You can dry yourself by the fire."
Since she still refused to tell the truth about her real identity, he would play along with her
and see how long she could keep the act up.
Alright!
Rachelle's face flushed crimson from where she had just stood in the water.
She was the holy nun of the True Flame Sect! What would the sect pupils say if she saw
her in such a state, all because she was trying to catch some fish?
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmRachelle hung her head, not daring to look Darryl in the eye as she walked to the fire
silently to begin drying her clothes.
Darryl did not waste any more words. Instead, he broke off a branch, stabbing a few fish in
no time before bringing it back to the fire. In the blink of an eye, the air was filled with the
aroma of freshly grilled fish.
"That smells heavenly!"
Rachelle could not help but exclaim in awe as she took the advantage to ask Darryl,
"Where are you from, Sir? I still haven't gotten to ask you that."
Of course, she knew that Darryl was the head of the Elixir Sector at the Pure Yang Division,
but the show had to go on, so she would just ask a little more.
Darryl smiled. "Just a wanderer of the world."
As he spoke, he handed a fish to Rachelle.
Rachelle stopped short at the response. Darryl was pretty clever, not revealing that he
was the head of the Elixir Sector at the Pure Yang Division.
At the thought, Rachelle did not say anything further as she began to eat the fish.
To tell the truth, Rachelle did not want to eat anything Darryl made, but she had walked
for a good few hours and was positively starving. Also, the fish Darryl cooked smelled
really good.
It was not long before the pair had polished off all the fish.
