Chapter 5079
Heather spent the next few seconds stringing the Flamefish scales through the seaweeds
before using them to bind the broken pieces of the boat back together.
All that could be seen were the scales tightly pressed against the boat as if they were one
with the wood, not allowing a single drop of water to leak through.
Magic.
At the sight, Neil strode over to take a quick look at the boat and could not help but raise a
thumb in admiration. "You're amazing, Sister-In-Law."
Ambrose's expression was nothing but proud as well.
The woman he loved was not only beautiful but good with her hands. How could he not be
happy?
"Oh, quit it."
Heather smiled lightly, taking the baby from Ambrose before chiding," Come on, let's get
going. We've already taken away quite a bit of time fixing the boat. I'm afraid the Dragon
King Palace men might have already made a move."
Alright!
At the words, the two brothers nodded. They heaved the boat off the rocks and into the
sea before getting in with Heathers and quickly paddling away in the direction of the Nine
Continents.

On Dragon King Island, in the chambers.
Morticia paced about endlessly, her exquisite features laced with unspeakable worry and
nerves.
Forsythe had been gone for quite some time and not returned. Could something have
happened?
Swish swish...
Just then, a series of footsteps sound from outside the palace. This was followed by
Antigonus walking in with his hands crossed behind his back.
Whew...
Morticia's chest thudded at the sight of him, but she put on an expression of nonchalance,
and she strode forward to welcome him. "At your service, Honorable Archfiend."
As she spoke, Morticia's face was completely calm, a sharp contrast to her restless nerves.
Crap. Forsythe hadn't returned yet, and the Archfiend had come.
Antigonus seemed to be in a pretty good mood. He sat himself down in one of the chairs,
smiling lightly. "That's alright. No one's around. There's no need for honorifics."
As he spoke, Antigonus' expression was calm and bright. "I was just passing by and
thought I'd visit you and your..." Before the word 'child' could come out, he glanced at the
bed before stopping short at the sight of it being empty.
Crap.
Sensing Antigonus' gaze, Mortici trembled as a sense of dread crept over her.
Sure enough, Antigonus frowned. "Where's the baby?" To tell the truth, Antigonus had
been greatly displeased by the fact that Morticia had borne a child with a mortal human
and had even wanted the baby dead. Yet, upon giving it some thought, the baby was
innocent. On top of that, he also had Fiend's race blood in him.
Upon realizing this, Antigonus was no longer upset. He had planned to come over to have
a look at the baby, only to find that he wasn't here and could not help but ask about the
baby’s whereabouts.
"Honorable Archfiend... I..." Morticia was nothing but panicked, unsure of how to respond
at once.
Back when Ambrose had taken the baby away to have him exchanged with
Heather, Morticia had not told any of this to Antigonus. All she thought was that she would
make the exchange as soon as possible, and all would be fine.
Only for her to have waited for such a long time, to no return of Forsythe- and then to
have Antigonus show up, too.
"Morticia!"
Seeing her stutter, Antigonus stood up slowly as his expression darkened in displeasure.

your baby?"
Morticia bit her lip, her brain racing for an excuse to come up with.
"Your Highness!"
Yet just then, a loud cry sounded from outside the palace. It was followed by the
appearance of a stumbling Forsythe, soaking wet with a pale expression.
Morticia's already panicked emotions grew even more distraught. From the look on his
face, her baby had not returned. Her mind buzzed as she collapsed onto the floor.
Forsythe’s expression was nothing but remorseful as well. He was startled at the sight of
Antigonus.
Crap, why was the Archfiend here?
The Empress had made it a point for Forsythe to strictly keep the news of her baby being
taken away from the Archfiend. How was he going to explain the state he was in?
"Forsythe!”
Just as Forsythe’s head was racing with thoughts, Antigonus asked slowly," Why do you
look like that? What's going on?" "I..." Forsythe stuttered, not knowing what to say as he
stole a glance at Morticia.
Antigonus was even more sure that something had happened then. He said in a cool tone,
"Come on. Out with it."
