Chapter 4611
Prince Auten became more and more furious. He pointed at Prince Aurin and scolded,
"Don't think you can behave so insolently just because the late emperor favored you!"
"Behave insolently?" Instead of being angered by this, Prince Aurin found it funny. "The
only person who's behaving insolently here is you."
Words could not describe just how furious Prince Aurin was. The throne was supposed to
be his and yet it was stolen by Prince Auten and not only that, he was put on trial.
"Let me ask you this! Do you plead guilty to the crime of helping Darryl escape?" asked
Prince Auten with a darkened expression on his face.
Prince Aurin took a deep breath and looked at Prince Auten fearlessly. "I didn't do anything
wrong, so why should I admit any guilt? Darryl has done so much for the Godly Region;
without him the fiend race wouldn't have been annihilated. Without him, Darryl's master's
fairy soul wouldn't have been saved. But instead of being grateful for his contribution, you
all decided to lock him up in the Sky Prison to safeguard your own benefits. Can you really
say this is how those who abide by the heavenly rules should behave? I find this whole

Both the expressions of Prince Auten and Empress Heidi, who was sitting beside him,
changed to anger. In the next second, Prince Auten gritted his teeth and shouted, "Fine!
You still refuse to admit to your crime, right? Guard, carry out the punishment!"
A General quickly came over with a Spirit Whip. As its namesake, the spirit of the person
being whipped would suffer from unbearable pain. When Darryl was captured, the Nine
Heaven Emperor used the Spirit Whip on him when he suspected that he was colluding
with the fiend race.
Prince Aurin's heart was shaken when he saw the Spirit Whip. He looked at Prince Auten
angrily and said, "Auten, our father will turn in his grave and never forgive you if he knew
that you stole the throne from me and punished me with the Spirit Whip."
"How dare you use our late father to scare me? Whip him! Whip him now!" shouted the
utterly unnerved Prince Auten.
The General responded. He quickly walked over to where Prince Aurin was and said coldly,
"You deserve to be whipped for not admitting to your crimes and talking back to His
Majesty."
The whip came down unmercifully on Prince Aurin as soon as the General finished
speaking. The Spirit Whip had the ability to strike an individual's spirit and one whip was
enough to make Prince Aurin shake with the unbearable pain coming from somewhere
deep within his soul. He nearly cried out but managed to endure it.
Prince Auten was unbelievably happy to see him being whipped.
"Aurin, I'll make sure you won't suffer too much as long as you admit to your crime. We're
brothers after all," he said fakely.
Prince Aurin took a deep breath and gritted his teeth in determination. "I didn't do
anything wrong, so there's no crime to speak of. I advise you to give it up if you wish to
whip me into a confession."
"Very well then!" said Prince Auten at his reply. His anger gave way to a cold humorous
smile. "Let's just see how long you can hold on. Whip him! Whip him until he gives us a
confession!"
The General waved the Spirit Whip again and the crisp sound of the Spirit Whip meeting

Auten had gone a little overboard but none of them dared to stop him for they all knew
him to be violent and tyrannical. Only a fool would dare to cross him.
They continued to strike Prince Aurin and he seemed unable to hold on, but still, he gritted
his teeth and refused to cry out. Soon, his clothes were completely dyed red and though
his body seemed to be giving out, his eyes remained steadfast.
"That's enough!" Prince Auten raised his hand, signaling the General to stop when he saw
that Prince Aurin was about to faint. Then he slowly stood up and looked condescendingly
down at Prince Aurin. "Last chance. Do you admit to your crimes?"
At that very moment, Prince Aurin was not only trembling all over his body but also in the
depths of his soul. He had lost the strength to speak and was extremely weak, but he still
shook his head firmly in the face of Prince Auten.
'Dammit!' Prince Auten lost what little compassion he had at the answer. He sneered and
said, "Very well; this is your choice. Guard, lock him up in the Sky Prison. He will be tried
with Darryl once the latter is captured!"
