Chapter 4575
Darryl's expression in the Sky Prison was nothing but bitter as he let out a long sigh, which
echoed throughout the prison.
Empress Heidi had thrown him into prison just when he thought he had solved the last of
his problems by taking down the fiend race.
Was that his fate?
Instead, he should devote his time to cultivating and restoring his fairy soul.
Darryl closed his eyes as if he had just had a revelation. The Innate strength that Empress
Nuwa had passed on to him was something he had begun cultivating and acknowledging.
When he fled the Infernal Hell Prison and traveled directly to the Floating Island before
proceeding to the Sealed Fiend Mountain, Darryl had not been able to devote the
necessary time to cultivate his power properly.
Even though he was held captive, he had a quiet place to cultivate.
The passage of time seemed to happen in the blink of an eye!
Night came quickly after that.
Darryl had finally completed his cultivation. A soft exhale escaped his lungs as he slowly
opened his eyes and looked at the scene around him.
He could not just sit there and await his death, right? No, he had to think of a way to get
out of there.
The only problem was that the Sky Prison was heavily guarded, and there were tens of
thousands of Godly Region soldiers patrolling the area at all hours of the day and night.
How would he leave?
Darryl became a little frantic at the mere thought of it.
However, he heard footsteps from outside the Sky Prison at that exact moment. They were
extremely light, as if the person was taking great care not to make a lot of noise while
they were doing so. As soon as the cell door opened, a light sound could be heard. A tall,
lean figure ducked into the cell quickly.
Huh?
Darryl thought that Empress Heidi had dispatched someone to torture him. However, upon
closer inspection, he discovered that it was one of his former students, Prince Aurin.
"It’s you?"
Darryl was slightly surprised. He could not help but ask, "What are you doing here?"
Prince Aurin was dressed in casual clothing; he wore a frantic and remorseful expression.
"Master!"
Prince Aurin made his way over quickly. Then, he got down onto his knees and spoke in a
tone full of remorse. "You have done great deeds for the Godly Region, but they threw you
into prison in return. You've suffered greatly."
Prince Aurin was not present when Darryl was arrested and sentenced to prison. He
immediately attempted to reason with Empress Heidi when he discovered the truth.
However, the prince was just a prince whose power could not be compared to Empress
Heidi's.
After exhausting all other options, the only thing left for Prince Aurin to do was sneak into
the Sky Prison and attempt to smuggle Darryl out.
Darryl's face turned bitter as he realized Prince Aurin had gone to such lengths to help
him. "If I'm being honest, sneaking into the Sealed Fiend Mountain was partly my fault. I
did not think things through; I was too confident."
Prince Aurin was a man of great rationality, and he shook his head firmly.' But those
mistakes are hardly anything compared to what you have achieved. Without you, the
Godly Region would still be in perpetual unrest.
They're just jealous."
Prince Aurin did not bother wasting his words any further. He hoisted Darryl up in one swift
move and said, "That's enough, Master. I will get you out of here, no matter what it takes.
I'm determined to send you back to the Nine Mainland."
To Prince Aurin, Darryl was not only the Nine Heavens Sage but also someone capable of
anything and everything. First, he had broken the Blood fiend Formation, and then the
Godly Region had been able to take down the fiend race, largely thanks to his help. Who
else was capable of such things in the Godly Region? It would be a shame for him to die in
the Sky Prison.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmMore importantly, he was Prince Aurin's master.
He would get him out, no matter what it took.
"No way!"
Darryl shook his head and declined his offer. "You're a prince, Aurin. When he was still
alive, the late Emperor said that he wanted you to be next in line to the throne after him.
"I'm no more than a mere criminal. Imagine what would happen to you if you got caught
trying to sneak me out! Not even Empress Heidi would forgive you. I'd be eternally guilty if
your place on the throne got taken away from you just because of that."
Darryl's expression was entirely sincere.
He had not yet imparted any of his abilities or skills to Prince Aurin, so he was hardly his
master in any sense of the word. How could he drag him down like that?
"Master?"
When Darryl rejected him, Prince Aurin grew frantic. He got down on his knees to beg. "If
you don't come with me, I'm not getting up.
"I don't think my father would have wanted this for you either."
Darryl took a deep breath. He had no choice but to nod and say, "Fine, then. You can take
me out of Sky Prison and get as far away as possible from me immediately. Be mindful not
to get caught!"
"Alright!" When Prince Aurin finally got Darryl to agree, his face lit up with delight, and he
nodded enthusiastically. "Don't worry, Master. The guards won't be able to do much since
it's me."
Prince Aurin pulled Darryl in the direction of the Sky Prison exit.
