Chapter 4493
Empress Nuwa shut the idea down instantly.
"You're the Nine Heaven Emperor, ruler of the Godly Region," Empress Nuwa said, biting
her lip. She left no room for disagreements. "The Imperial Sky Palace still needs you to
watch over it. You can't go."
At the look of fierce determination on her face, the Nine Heaven Emperor gave up on
arguing any further. He let out a long sigh, 1
Empress Nuwa approached Blaise slowly. She said, "Blaise. I'll give you one last chance. If
you don't want me to steal your identity, tell me the truth -what predictions did you yield
from the Holy Sky Stone? And what did they have to do with Darryl Darby?"
Empress Nuwa knew Blaise would never give up the truth. She figured she would just give
it one last try.
Blaise took a deep breath and gritted his teeth. "Don't waste your breath. I'm not going to
betray the Honorable Archfiend. I'm sure he'll be able to tell it's not me in a second if you
take my physical form."
"Very well!" Empress Nuwa smiled lightly. Then, she said coldly. "Since you won't work with
me, I guess we're done here."
Empress Nuwa exploded her energy. She raised an arm and placed it on Blaise's head. She

had sealed Blaise's fiend soul, he was still able to think, and that got in the way of
Empress Nuwa's fairy soul properly taking over his physical form. That was why she still
had to suppress his consciousness.
"Argh!"
Overwhelming magical energy rushed into his body endlessly. Blaise let out an agonized
screech. He felt as if his consciousness was grounded to shreds. He howled out loud.
"You'll never succeed, Empress Nuwa! The Honorable Archfiend will be able to see through
your tricks at first glance. You'll never succeed!"
Empress Nuwa paid no mind to Blaise's screams, continuing to feed her energy into him.
As the energy grew stronger, the atmosphere in the Imperial Sky Palace began to
constrict. Blaise's cries grew weaker until he lost all control over his body. Finally, they
stopped altogether.
Blaise stood rooted to the ground, unmoving, and his gaze was hollow. Empress Nuwa had
completely sealed his spirit and fiend soul, and he had lost all control over his own
physical form.
Empress Nuwa opened her mouth without hesitation. She muttered a few chants, and a
golden ray of light shot out of her body as her fairy soul merged with Blaise's physical
form.
After fully entering Blaise's physical form, Empress Nuwa opened her eyes slowly. She
turned toward the Nine Heaven Emperor. "All done. I'm going to report back to Archfiend
Antigonus now. Prepare Darryl Darby for the exchange."
Empress Nuwa turned to leave the Imperial Sky Palace.
"Senior Sister!"
At the sight of Empress Nuwa's departing figure, the Nine Heaven Emperor could not help
but cry out, "You must be careful."
At the same time, the officials dropped to their knees, hailing Empress Nuwa as she made
her exit. Their gazes were full of awe and respect.
Only someone with the courage and fearlessness that Empress Nuwa had would be able to
do something as dangerous as infiltrating the fiend race to scope for information.
"Quick!"
The Nine Heaven Emperor snapped back to his senses. He turned to address the fairies
next to him. "Take Empress Nuwa's body to a safe place. Take good care of her, and make
sure there are no slip-ups."
Empress Nuwa's physical form had no fairy soul and was rather frail. A mere fiend warrior
could destroy it.

A few fairies scurried forward to carry Empress Nuwa's body out of the Imperial Sky
Palace.
"Magaera!"
Just as they left, the Nine Heaven Emperor cast another glance around before his eyes
landed on Master Magaera. "Go to the Sky Prison, and bring Darryl Darby out. Have
everything prepared, and get to the exchange location to welcome the Ancient Ancestor's
fairy soul back."
Master Magaera nodded. "Yes, Your Majesty."
Master Magaera strode out of the Imperial Sky Palace quickly and made a beeline for the
Sky Prison.
Meanwhile, in the Sky Prison.
Darryl sat in a corner, his face pale and his clothes disheveled. He had yet to recover from
the injuries that the Spirit Whip had caused. He was a sorry sight.
'Motherf*cker! I've lived a life of nothing but truth and never did any harm.' 1
Would he end up dying in the Godly Region Sky Prison?
No, that would not do.
As Darryl mumbled to himself, he gritted his teeth through the pain coursing his body to
sit cross-legged. He focused his attention, trying to open any powers he had yet to
acquire.
