Chapter 4335
That same day, the Five Poison Sect moved around the Great East simultaneously. They tricked Celine, seized Ricky by
force, and brought many other skilled doctors to the Maple Division.
Meanwhile, over at the other end...
Around a hundred kilometers northwest of the Great East was a place with thick mountains and forests.
Among the greenery, a figure could be seen rushing forward at top speed, their face flushed from the exertion of energy as
sweat trickled from their face. It was Darryl.
Darryl had spent a good few hours flying upon escaping from the Sword Sect and was tired out of his mind. Yet he did not
stop as he knew that Jedidiah would never forgive him for killing so many Sword Sect members.
Darryl would never have feared if that had happened in the past. Yet he had no choice then. The Red Lotus Fayette's energy
had not been fully incorporated yet, and he had also used up quite a bit of power in the battle. If he had continued to fight
with the Sword Sect, it would be a one-way ticket to hell.
Whew!
After he had run for an undetermined amount of time, Darryl exhaled in relief. He spotted a stream in front of him, and his
spirits immediately perked.
Darryl made his way to the stream in quick strides and pondered. He washed his face, then took a few huge gulps of the
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtwater. After that, he sat by the river, resting.
As he was resting, Darryl was overwhelmed with emotion. His mind went to Khloris and Olive involuntarily.
'Now that I'm gone, would the Sword Sect attack Khloris?'
'She's the Deputy Sect Master, but they saw me breaking into her room late
at night. It must be a tough situation to explain to anyone.'
And then there was also Olive. Would she be dragged into it as well?
Darryl laid the situation out in his head. He and Khloris were hardly friends. If she wanted
to protect herself, all she had to do was reveal his identity.
Darryl was no longer worried.
Then, he heard footsteps from behind him. The steps were dense and quick -they must be
highly skilled warriors!
Darryl scrambled to turn around to see who it was.
Crap!
Darryl nearly jumped up when he saw who it was. At the same time, he could not help his
sharp air intake. He was speechless.
'F*ck, those Sword Sect people sure moved fast. They're really out to get me, aren't they?'
He could see a few people approaching from behind. They had impossibly strong auras
and wielded longswords with ferocity. They were the Sword Sect's six elders.
At the same time, the elders had spotted Darryl as well. Their spirits lifted visibly as they
cried out with rage.
"Let's see how much further you can run, you b*stard!"
'You killed so many of our men. I suggest you surrender now!"
"You can't run this time. Just give it up!"
As they cried out, the elders charged forward and surrounded Darryl.
F*ck!
Darryl stood rooted to the ground, completely unmoving. The expression on his face was
completely ashen.
■Jedidiah overestimated my abilities, sending all six of his elders.'
Darryl smiled lightly. He put on an expression of great politeness, turning to address the
six elders. "Let's not go too far. Can't you spare my life? You would not be so heartless,
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmright?"
Darryl sighed lightly. He said, "I'm a mere nobody. Surely there's no need for such antics?’
The six elders exchanged looks with each other in mild confusion.
That guy sure had some nerves. He still dared to smile in a situation like that. 2
The next second, Head Elder Linson roared, "Cut the crap! Put your weapons down to surrender this very second. If you
come back to the altar with us, we might still be able to spare your life.
But if you insist on going against us, don't blame us for not showing you mercy."
As the words rang through the air, the other elders nodded as well.
’Take him down, now."
Darryl smiled, speaking calmly, "Do you think I'm stupid? Returning with you would mean death for me. How about this?
You leave while you still can, and I'll pretend I didn't see you. Or else, don't say that I didn't spare you any mercy."
"What?"
Linson and the other elders flared with anger.
'That guy is crazy. He is not surrendering, and he is also threatening us?' 9
’Don't waste your time talking to him!"
Linson's eyes were filled with rage as he cried out, "We're all in! Let's teach him a lesson and then bring him to Sect
Master."
