Chapter 4271
Though Khloris was only the Deputy Sect Master, she had a rather high status and prestige in the Sword Sect compared to
Jedidiah. Moreover, Khloris had once saved Jedidiah.
All the cultivators within the Great East knew the Sword Sect and the Elixir Sect were not on good terms.
Eight years ago, Jedidiah left the mountain to handle affairs. On his way back, he was ambushed by the Elixir Sect and was
severely injured by the Sect Master of the Elixir Sect, Andy. Jedidiah had to fight alone and in the end, he was besieged by
the people of the Elixir Sect. He was desperate.
When the news reached the Sword Sect, Khloris made a prompt decision and led thousands of elite disciples on a rescue
mission. The war between Khloris and Andy lasted a day. When the opportunity arose, they rescued Jedidiah.
During that war, Khloris used the ultimate technique of the Sword Sect, the Sword Cupid, and broke the stone bridge at the
valley. This stopped the Elixir Sect from chasing after them. It was an amazing feat.
Eight years had passed since the incident, but Jedidiah will always remember it clearly. After he left, a few disciples carried

"Olive, bring him here. I'll take a look at his injuries," Khloris said softly.
Olive pushed Darryl towards the main hall, following Khloris. Her mood lightened up and
she said to Khloris, "Master, thank you so much."
Then, she said to Darryl, "Dart, Master treats me the best in the entire Sword Sect. She's
not only pretty but also very kind. She's the best woman in the world."
Darryl chuckled in response.
Khloris, who was walking ahead of them, started blushing and glared at Olive. "Why are
you talking so much?"
'Olive doesn't know her manners!' she thought.
Olive stuck out her tongue as she stopped talking, but she still had a bright smile on her
face. Quickly, the three of them had reached a thatched cottage.
Darryl was stunned by the thatched cottage. It looked beautiful. There were ancient
medical books on one of the bookshelves, while the other had herbs. Flowers also
surrounded the cottage.
Once inside, Khloris started checking Darryl's pulse. At that moment, she frowned and was
shocked. 'Strange. He has no internal energy and his injuries are quite serious. However,
his injuries look strange and his body is weak, but his pulse is normal.'
"Master, how is he? Are Dart's injuries treatable?" Olive asked.
Khloris shook her head in confusion as she explained her thoughts. Olive frowned and
asked Darryl, "Dart, what kind of bandits did you run into?
Your injuries look strange."
Darryl grinned and shook his head. At the same time, he was secretly laughing.
'I was injured by one of the twelve Fiend Martyrs, Morticia. The fiend race has a rather
peculiar and unique cultivation method. While Khloris was only one of them in the Sword
Sect and naturally, she would not understand.'

"I forgot you couldn't speak," Olive muttered as she looked at Darryl. She was about to ask more questions when Khloris
interrupted her.
"It's fine. His injuries aren't critical and aren't life-threatening. Let him rest for now. You may bring him around these few
days to let him get familiarized with the environment at the main hall. Remember, do not go to the forbidden areas,"
Khloris said softly.
Then, she left.
"Have a nice day, Master!" Olive said.
Seeing Khloris had left, Olive turned around and grinned at Darryl. "Dart, you heard her. Your injuries are alright. You can
just stay here in the Sword Sect for now. The sky has turned dark now, so i'll give you a tour of the grounds tomorrow."
'Okay!' Darryl answered, but he felt perplexed. 1
He wanted to ask Olive to send him to the Gaia Continent, but after some careful thinking, he realized Olive was not
welcomed in the Sword Sect. She had put a lot of effort into allowing him to stay there to treat his injuries. She would be
disappointed if he wanted to leave.
'Let's just treat my wounds first; he told Olive.
