Chapter 4236
What?
Everyone, including Gonggong and the generals, froze in shock.
The South Gate had been infiltrated?
How was that possible? The South Gate had always been firmly guarded, with the tightest security.
Gonggong clenched her teeth as she tried to tamp her anger. She asked coldly, "How did it
happen?”
"Great Marshal." The soldier's face was wrought with fear and anxiety as he spoke. "It's the men
from the Hidden Hero Sect. They pretended to check on the South Gate's defense layout and ended
up killing everyone when they got there."
Despicable!
Gonggong's heart pounded with regret and rage at the words she had heard.
She should have never trusted those imbeciles from the Hidden Hero Sect. That was a grave
mistake.
Gonggong did not know that Robert's men were not from the Hidden Hero Sect at all but
soldiers from New World Royals in disguise.
However, Gonggong did not bother dwelling on that for too long and calmed down quickly

When they reached outside the palace, Gonggong's body jolted as her exquisite features
twisted in rage and shock. At the same time, the generals behind her gasped as well.
The road leading up to the palace was littered with the bodies of the royal guards. Their
blood had stained the ground crimson. The hundreds of thousands of New World Royals
charged forward with enthusiasm as they surrounded the palace from all directions!
A man on a white horse led the troops. He was clad in gold, radiating authority and power.
It was Lord Kenny.
A charming figure hovered above the troops, and her exquisite features were wrought with
an unreadable expression. It was Yvette.
Yvette was distraught seeing the attack on the North Moana Palace.
She had only helped with the Hazel Hen Gate to gain Skylar's trust. Yvette had it all
figured out-she would delay Lord Kenny's attack on the North Moana royal city to the best
of her abilities.
However, she had not expected the North Moana royal city would be taken down so
quickly and easily.
Lord Kenny could not help the peal of laughter that burst forth as he turned to face
Gonggong. "Oh, Honorable Gonggong. I'm sure you didn't expect that we'd meet again so
soon, did you?"
Gonggong bit her lip as she spoke icily, "Don't sound too smug, Lord Kenny. You sent
people pretending to be members of the Hidden Hero Sect and infiltrated the South Gate.
Even if you do win, your victory will not have been one you earned fair and square."
Gonggong was sure that Lord Kenny had sent the fake Hidden Hero Sect members.
Lord Kenny smirked coldly. "Don't be a sore loser. No point trying to justify your defeat."
As he spoke, Lord Kenny's eyes flashed sinisterly. He turned to cast a glance at Yvette in
mid-air, continuing to speak. "If I'm being honest, the attack was only successful because
of Honorable Lady Lane. She had our men dress up as Hidden Hero Sect members to
infiltrate the royal city. We would not have been able to get past the South Gate so easily
had it not been for her!"
Lord Kenny was a cunning man, and he took the time to add fuel to the fire that was the
rivalry between Yvette and Gonggong. 1
Her again!
They had lost the Hazel Hen Gate half a day ago because of her, and then the royal city
had gone down in flames at her hands as well.

Lord Kenny did not waste his breath as a ferocious expression appeared on his face. "Take the palace
at once. Kill anyone who gets in your way!"
"Attack!"
The hundreds of thousands of New World soldiers called out in acknowledgment as they charged
straight into the palace!
"Defend the palace!'
Gonggong cried out as well, soaring into the battle.
Gonggong knew that the South Gate infiltration had caused their enemies to sneak into the royal
city, and there was nothing they could do about that. There was no way she would be able to protect
the palace.
She did not want to lose, but she would kill a good number of the opposing soldiers before she let
them take the palace.
"Attack! Protect the palace."
The generals and the North Moana guards roared as they drew their weapons and began to fight
with the New World Royals.
However, the gap between their troops differed too greatly, and soon many of the North Moana
guards screamed in agony as they collapsed in pools of their own blood.
