Chapter 4230
Lord Kenny continued speaking; he sounded pretentious. "All you need to do tomorrow when we
declare war is show up. I'm sure your presence will be enough to intimidate the royal guards, and
they won't dare to fight US."
Lord Kenny’s Strategy was just to get things over and done with as quickly as possible.
’No!"
Yvette shook her head almost immediately, leaving no room for questioning in her tone. "Attack
tomorrow if you must, but I won't be there. My suggestion is to take tomorrow off and attack the day
after."
Yvette barely gave Lord Kenny a chance to retaliate after she spoke. She got up and exited the tent.
Indeed, Yvette did not wish to attack the North Moana royal city. That was because the North Moana
Continent would go down in flames the second they took the royal city down, and Yvette did not
want that to happen.
So, Yvette decided to go against Lord Kenny's suggestion.
When she returned to her tent, Yvette drew a deep breath. Her exquisite features were knitted with
worry.
It looked like a day would not affect the unavoidable outcome of the North Moana royal city getting

defeated Gonggong.
What could she do?
Yvette knitted her brows as she fell into silent thought.
A few minutes later, a thought seemed to come to her as her spirits lifted. There was a
way for her to get help for the North Moana Continent. All she had to do was pretend she
could not defeat them and then ask Skylar for the scroll.
Right, she would do just that.
As she made up her mind, Yvette exited the tent in quick steps while it was still dark and
snuck into the North Moana royal city.
Yvette had planned to let Debra support the North Moana royal city. Debra was the Hidden
Hero Sect's Sect Master, and the Hidden Hero Sect was an incredible force. They would be
able to support the North Moana Continent.
However, there was no way Yvette could pass the news to the Hidden Hero Sect through
anyone in the camp. After much thought, she decided to have someone from the North
Moana continent send a message on her behalf.
Meanwhile, in the camp.
Yvette's arrogant exit had angered Lord Kenny.
Lord Kenny's face grew ashen at the thought of how Yvette had acted, and his anger made
him lose control and slammed his fist on the table.
F*ck! Yvette did not spare him any dignity and even rejected his battle strategy.
"Your Majesty!"
Just then, a general walked into the tent and spoke in a cautious tone. "The soldiers are
resting. Are we attacking the city tomorrow morning?"
Lord Kenny replied impatiently, "No. We can't, can we? That b*tch Yvette Lane refuses to
show herself tomorrow, so we have no choice to keep resting. We can't win the war with
Gonggong without her, can we?"
The general flushed at the scolding. However, a thought seemed to come to him as he
whispered, "Your Majesty, I think I saw Yvette leaving the camp before I came in here. She
was headed in the direction of the North Moana royal city."
Lord Kenny stood rooted to the spot and frowned in confusion.
Yvette had turned down attacking the royal city, and then she took a trip there while it was dark?
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmDid she have a different agenda?
That was not right. She was at Skylar's mercy, and there was no way she would betray him.
Lord Kenny could not figure out Yvette's intentions. He did not want to continue thinking about that,
so he immediately barked an order to the general. "Have someone be on the lookout at the royal
city's entrances.
Report to me if you spot Yvette."
The general nodded. "Will do.’
He rushed out of the camp in quick strides.
It was already deep into the night, and Lord Kenny felt tired. He waved his hands to dismiss the
other general and closed his eyes to cultivate.
Two hours later, the general returned to the tent. "I have news, Your Majesty. I did as you told and
had people be on the lookout around the royal city. They saw that Yvette Lane returned to camp
within an hour."
Lord Kenny was quite frustrated since the interruption disturbed his cultivation. Yet he did not lose
his temper. He asked lightly, "Well, what took you so long if she returned within an hour?"
"Your Majesty!"
The general smiled, unable to hide his glee. "I was preparing to head back and decided at the last
minute that it'd be a good idea to leave a backup to keep an eye on the entrances. Sure enough,
someone tried to leave the royal city not long after that and looked extremely suspicious. So we
seized him."
