Chapter 4133
The whips sent a soul-crushing pain through Darryl's body. He felt his vision darken as if he was about to pass out at any
moment.
Morticia was right. The ivory whip held the strength of thunder, made to take down the Godly Region soldiers.
Even though Darryl's body had the power of the Bird Ancestor, it finally gave out after about half an hour.
Finally, Morticia lost her patience as well. She retracted the ivory whip and said coldly, "Darryl Darby, no good can come
from opposing the fiend race. I'll give you one last chance to think things through. I hope you'll have a satisfactory answer
when I come back."
Then, Morticia turned to leave the stone room.
Morticia wanted nothing more than to kill Darryl immediately. Yet, upon second thought, Darryl was still the Godly Region's
Nine Heaven Sage and had a pretty close relationship with the Demon tribe. He could be of great use in the future. She
wanted to keep him around for the time being.
Darryl heaved a sigh of relief after Morticia left. He collapsed onto the floor after struggling to stay upright in front of
Morticia after so long. Once she had left, he could no longer keep himself upright.
Darryl felt helpless then.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe Fiend Martyr had given him her last warning. Would he submit to her, as well as the fiend race? If he did, he would
never be able to return to the Nine Mainland.
If he did not, Morticia would kill him for sure.
Amid his dilemma, Darryl's vision darkened, and he passed out at last.
Morticia's exquisite features were twisted with anger as she walked out of the stone room.
She felt absolutely dismal.
The thought of Darryl's stubborn, unrelenting face filled Morticia with endless rage. As one
of the twelve Fiend Martyrs, Morticia had captured plenty of prisoners. Those included
powerful members of the Demon tribe to officials from the Godly Region. They had all
submitted to her and obeyed her every word; not a single one had ever pushed back.
Darryl, however, was a clear exception.
"Come with me!'
Morticia turned to two fiend warriors. "I'm going to go look around."
There was nothing to do at the fiend camp, as they had still not figured out a way to get
into the Imperial Sky Palace. Morticia wished to help lessen some of Archfiend Antigonus's
burdens but could not think of a way to do so. With the addition of Darryl's stubbornness,
she had no choice but to go outside to relieve her frustrations.
The fiend warriors called out in acknowledgment as they followed Morticia's lead and
soared toward the mountains.
After a while, something caught Morticia's eye. She slowed down and tried to see what it
was.
The fiend warriors behind her seemed to notice it as well. One of them shouted, "Over
there, Honorable Fiend Martyr! It looks like a person."
Everyone else turned in that direction.
There was a figure lying on the hills, and it looked like he was covered in filth and blood.
He seemed barely alive. Next to him were two severed legs, which drenched the ground in
fresh blood.
It was a gory, bone-chilling sight.
It was Oliver.
Morticia furrowed her eyebrows and fell silent. She said, "Let's go take a look." She soared

The fiend warriors behind her rushed to follow suit.
As they landed on the mountain, the fiend warriors strode forward to check Oliver's condition.
Before long, one of the fiend warriors reported to Morticia. "Honorable
Fiend Martyr, he seems to be from the Demon tribe. The man has the Black Tortoise crest on his body."
Then, another fiend warrior said, "He's still alive. Should we kill him?"
All members of the Godly Region, Demon tribe, even human beings were enemies of the fiend race.
"Not yet."
As the fiend warrior was about to strike, Morticia shook her head. "Keep him alive, and bring him back."
Morticia was far from fond of the Demon tribe. Had it been in the past, she would have killed Oliver without a shred of
hesitation. However, she changed her mind when she thought of how Archfiend Antigonus tried to find the Demon tribe.
Yooda had left with 5000 warriors half a day ago, and there had still not been any news. He probably had not found the new
territory yet. Under those circumstances, running into a barely alive Demon warrior might be a stroke of luck.
"Yes, Honorable Fiend Martyr."
The fiend warriors called out in agreement. Together with Morticia, they returned to the camp with Oliver in tow.
