Chapter 4105
"Something terrible has happened!"
Just as Darryl's fairy soul was about to be impaled by Grunt's golden spear, a loud cry could be heard from outside the
canyon. It was closely followed by a soldier rushing into the cave with a panicked expression on his face.' General Grunt,
Something terrible has happened!"
F*ck!
Grunt's face darkened at the interruption. He shouted, "Why are you panicking? Didn't I tell you to stand guard outside the
canyon? What are you doing here? What could have happened for you, a member of the great Godly Region, to freak out
like this?"
"General Grunt." The soldier grew anxious as his forehead beaded with sweat. He could barely put a sentence together in
his fear but managed to say, "There are a lot of fiend warriors outside right now. Their leader has terrifying power, and
we're about to lose to him."
What?
Grunt's chest thudded at the words, his brain buzzing.
Had the fiends not retreated from the Sealed Fiend Mountain? Why were there still so many of them?
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe canyon was also nigh impossible to find. How had they been able to locate it?
Just as Grunt was recovering from his shock, a series of rumbles sounded through the air.
It was followed by a figure clad in back rushing forward.
It was a beautiful woman.
She was in all-black armor that clung to her body, showing off her breathtaking figure.
There was not a single flaw in her exquisite features. Her beauty was near perfect, second
to only a few others.
Yet, a terrifying demonic aura radiated from her body. It was overwhelming enough to
make the temperature in the atmosphere drop, sending a chill down one's spine.
It was Morticia Yves, one of Archfiend Antigonus' twelve Fiend Martyrs.
Master Magaera had escaped during the war at the Sealed Fiend Mountain, ordering the
army of a little over a hundred thousand battered soldiers to flee in different directions as
far as they could go. Then, Archfiend Antigonus had ordered Morticia to go after the
soldiers.
Under Archfiend Antigonus' command, Morticia had spent the entire day combing through
the areas near the Sealed Fiend Mountain. In the process, she had managed to take down
a good number of soldiers. She had spotted some activity over there and had led an army
of a few thousand fiend warriors over without any hesitation.
Morticia wasted no time upon arriving at the canyon, ordering her subordinates to attack
the soldiers immediately while she soared deeper into the cave to see if there was
anything else there.
Darryl was stunned when he saw Morticia. He stared at her, unblinking.
What a beautiful fiend woman! Her looks could rival that of the goddess Nuwa. 2
At the same time, Grunt was speechless as well. He stared intently at Morticia, distracted
for a second.
He would have never thought such beauty existed in the fiend race.
Yet, Grunt came to his senses quickly enough, spitting coldly at Morticia, ’ How dare you
come in here, lowly fiend general. Get out of the way, or you'll pay for your trouble."
There were distinct hierarchies in the fiend army. Archfiend Antigonus was at the top,
followed by the Fiend Martyrs, the generals, and finally, the warriors.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmGrunt thought that the woman was gorgeous, but she was also very powerful. He was convinced that she was a general.
After all, the main fiend force was near the Imperial Sky Palace. There was no way they would have sent a Fiend Martyr
there.
Grunt had guessed wrong, but he did not know it.
"You've got some nerve saying that."
Morticia's face darkened as her lips thinned. She glared at Grunt, her gaze filled with condescension and mockery.
A fiend woman had just mocked Grunt. Humiliation and rage burned through him as he gripped his golden spear and
shouted, "How dare you disrespect me like that, you lowly fiend general! To hell with you!" 2
As he spoke, Grunt channeled a burst of godly energy that exploded from his body as he soared toward the heavens. He
charged in Morticia's direction like a golden bolt of lightning!
Grunt surged forward with the force of his fairy soul energy. As he moved, the golden spear pierced through the
atmosphere, constricting the air around it and enveloping the cave in a golden glow.
"You don't know who you're dealing with."
Morticia looked hardly affected by Grunt's outburst, staring at him coldly. She remained upright, devoid of any intention of
dodging the attack.
"You must be that Grunt fellow. Sure took me a while to get to you today."
