Chapter 4077
Immediately, many warriors and chiefs nodded in agreement. ’Darryl is right too. The demons had been held captive for so
many years and it wasn't easy for US to come out of it. We should recharge instead of joining a war on a whim.
"There are tens of thousands of Demon Warriors. Why should they listen to an outsider like you? Do you think you can
dictate our fate just because you're our benefactor?” Oliver scoffed and shouted, sounding indignant as he spoke.
He had an issue with Darryl ever since the incident with Leia. When he saw Darryl had suggested the demons migrate and
that the White Tiger King had accepted that suggestion, he felt more disturbed.
Suddenly, a loud voice sounded from behind, "You brute!"
The Black Tortoise King, who had been seated, jumped to his feet and scurried over. He then slapped Oliver hard. He was
shocked, angry and almost frightened to death. 'D*mn it! Oliver was being a brute. How dare he challenge Darryl in front of
everyone? If I let him be, how can the Black Tortoise race keep a foothold amongst the demons?'

The Black Tortoise King had almost exhausted his energy. Oliver covered his face and
staggered a few steps back. He was stunned and his face was swollen.
At that split second, the entire stone castle was pin-drop silent.
Quickly, Oliver snapped out of it and shouted while he looked at the Black Tortoise King
pitifully. "Father, did I say something wrong? This is an issue among the demons. Why
would an outsider have a say in it-"
Then, the Black Tortoise King slapped him again as he grunted," Ridiculous! Darryl, His
Excellency, was the one who saved US from suffering. How could he be an outsider?
Though we're demons, we should always have gratitude. What have I been teaching
you?!"
However, Oliver was not resigned to the situation and yelled with his bloodshot eyes,
"Even so, the fate of the demons should not be in his
hands!"
The Black Tortoise King shook in anger and shouted, "Shut up! One more word from you
and you're not my son anymore!"
He was utterly furious at his son for being disrespectful. As a matter of fact, Darryl had a
rather high status among the demons. Not only did he have the Power of Bird Ancestor,
but he was also favored by the White Tiger King. Given that, his son talking against the
White Tiger King would cause issues and would even cause the Black Tortoise race to be
involved.
At that moment, Oliver covered his face and he was frozen. He had always been loved by
the Black Tortoise King. To him, no matter what he did, his father would support him
unconditionally. However, to his surprise, his father was willing to cut him off just because
of Darryl.

The stone castle was pin-drop silent. The White Tiger King, the warriors, and the chiefs
watched quietly and did not make a move to stop them.
The White Tiger King was infuriated at Oliver's unruly actions, but he was the son of the
Black Tortoise King and he thought it was inappropriate of him to say anything.
The Black Tortoise King saw Oliver looking stunned and yelled at him," What are you waiting for? You've put the Black
Tortoise race to shame. Get out!"
Unwillingly and not having the courage to retort, Oliver had no choice but to leave the stone castle. However, he did not
leave immediately. He hid behind the doors outside the stone castle and eavesdropped on the situation in there.
After chasing his son away, the Black Tortoise King looked ashamed and said to Darryl with his fists clasped, ‘Your
Excellency, I'm truly sorry. My son didn't know better and has offended you with his words. Please don't mind him."
He was anxious as he spoke. As the Nine Heaven Sage, Darryl had the power to bring the demons out of captive, and
similarly, he could put hold them captive again.
Darryl smiled and waved his hand. "Black Tortoise King, you're being far too kind. He was just being impulsive and I
understand that he didn't agree with my suggestion."
After having been through so much, Darryl reacted calmly and he was not bothered by the scene caused by Oliver.
