Meanwhile, Dax was nowhere near Grunt's level and this angered him.
'Darryl has always been a conformist; there's no way in hell that he's the person behind Rogart's death. Not only
that, but now he's also working with demons? I doubt it; this guy must just be running his mouth,' Dax pondered
with careful considerations.
"You're here to ruin his name, aren’t you? Darryl has always been a good person and he's never conspired with
evil in the shadows.
How is it possible that he committed all these unlawful acts that you’ve claimed? I bet you're just here to stir up
trouble. You just want to destroy the Carter family, but I'm afraid you won't get what you want," Dax rebutted.

Suddenly, a surge of internal energy erupted from Dax's body. At the same time, a ray of golden light shone
through the cloud revealing the sky Breaking Ax in his hand. He grasped onto the ax tightly and immediately

Dax knew he was no match for Grunt however ,he had succumbed to his impulsive nature

"Insolent child! If I don't push the Carters into extinction today, you can kill me," Grunt
chuckled as he spoke and he looked at Dax with contempt.
Having said this, Grunt channeled the power of the fairy soul and swung his spear. A beam
of blinding light flashed towards Dax in an instant. Immediately, he swung his sky
Breaking Ax, responding with a ray of light of his own.
Boom!
Both rays of light collided, and not surprisingly, Grunt came out victorious. When the
scene cleared up, Dax had been pushed back tens of meters away; his face was as pale as
a ghost. Grunt, on the other hand, was still levitating over the same spot. The blasts had
not seemed to have fazed him at all.
Dax may possess both great strength and the mighty sky Breaking Axe. However, Grunt
was in a league of his own. He was a disciple of the Godly Region, after all.
"F*ck!" Dax cursed as he quickly gathered himself and shot Grunt a sharp glare.
'This Grunt guy is much stronger than me. As expected,' Dax questioned his own decision.

Grunt's undisputed dominance in the battle had also left all the disciples of the Carter
family in a state of shock.
"Haha!" Grunt taunted.
He proceeded to laugh coldly and said, "You almost caught me by surprise there with your
sky Breaking Axe. Sadly, nothing you do will change the outcome of your family's fate."
Having heard this, Dax wasn't too happy. His face grew red and he was preparing to revolt.
He was not the type of guy who would just sit there and take insults or threats from
someone else.

It was none other than Xenia and Yennie of the Nine Saint Oracles. Dax was overjoyed when he recognized their
faces.
'With their help, there's no need to fear Grunt,' Dax thought.
Both Xenia and Yennie had been practicing in the private room when they heard the commotion. They were
temporarily staying with the Carters after leaving the Heavenly Alliance with Darryl.
Grunt's expression darkened as soon as he was confronted by the two sisters from the Nine Saint Oracles.
"General Grunt, there must be something fishy going on with Rogart's death. Darryl is not one to be shady when
handling matters, so there's no way he is the perpetrator. Protecting demons sounds way too out of his character
as well," Xenia pleaded.
She knew exactly what to say as she overheard the conversation between Dax and Grunt on her way there. The
others nodded their heads in agreement.
"Silence! The Nine Saint Oracles were supposed to be assisting Rogart and doing the work of the Heavenly
Alliance. Not only did you betray the Heavenly Alliance, but you also colluded with Darryl. Today I shall do the
Godly Region a favor by getting rid of you two, permanently!" Grunt shouted.
