If he hadn't gotten drunk that one time, I probably wouldn't be carrying this baby either. I never knew the reason behind his drastic change, but now I do. After the both of you met, his desire to win your heart was rekindled again." My hands were subconsciously clasped together, and my lips were pursed tightly. I did not know how to respond to her words.
Liz laughed a little self-deprecatingly. "God is unfair to him. He was born into a privileged family just like your husband, but his love life isn't as smooth sailing a s Theo's.
