"What do you mean 'the two of us'?" Theo said in a cold voice, "There are obviously three of us."
| glanced at him and decided to ignore him. | waited for Jerand Xander to reply.
Jerlooked at Xander as though trying to seek his permission. Xander nodded at him. "Sure, having more
people around makes the New Year's celebration livelier. Otherwise, it'll be too quiet
with just the two of us."

Theo handed the child toand got in the car. | held Munchkin and was about to get in the car when Xander
