Chapter 528

"But...” Tyler spoke softly, "Although I'll support you no matter what you do, | hope you won't regret it one day.

After all, there’s no medicine for regret in this world."

After a pause, he continued, "Also, even if your heart is filled with hatred, don't be completely consumed by it.

Doing evil because of evil and becoming evil because o f evil aren’t the sthing. | hope you can go back to

being your old self after your revenge and begin a new life."

There would always be a person standing unconditionally by your side no matter what you became. They would

know everything about you and accept it all. For me, that person was Tyler.

However, | did not expect to hear these words from him. These did not seem like the kind of words that would

cout of his mouth.

| felt like | needed to rethink his character...

"I've changed." Tyler let go of me. "Have my changes made you fall in love withjust a bit?"

| rolled my eyes at him. "No."

"You're too cruel, Wandy. That's hurtful."

These were words to express that someone was unfairly treated. It would be nice if he could put on a similarly

wronged expression. Otherwise, saying these things with a smile would only make him seem weird.

After entering the gown shop and trying on the gowns, | grabbed his arm and blandly said before we left, "You

need to helpat the banquet tomorrow.”

"How can | help you?" Tyler asked, puzzled.

| pursed my lips. "I'll tell you tomorrow."

"Okay."

He always agreed to my requests readily, but | rarely said thank you. It madeseem a little too heartless,

hence | said, "Thanks for everything, Tyler."

"You've finally cto your senses, huh?" Tyler smirked. "I thought you didn't know how to say thank you.”

| twitched my mouth. "I'm not an ungrateful person."

"Are you only going to thankwith words, then?" Tyler asked with a smile.

| sneered. "I'll buy you a meal, okay?"

"Just a meal?"

| gritted my teeth. "Lots of meals."

"Sure." Tyler was satisfied.

We went to a restaurant and ate together. After that, h e askedwhere | wanted to stay for the night, to which

| replied anywhere. Hence, he sentto the apartment he lived across the street.

| slept very early that night and went to the company the next day to work the whole morning before going back

to the apartment to rest in the afternoon. At four i n the evening, Tyler broughtto the gown shop again.

| tried eight gowns yesterday that were suitable for m e, so | had to pick two from the pile for the banquet today.

One would serve as a backup to be taken to the banquet venue.

| was nonchalant about it, but Tyler began to seriously choose them.

In the end, he picked a beige gown forto change into. When | cout, he nodded in satisfaction. "This one

is more conservative."

The make-up artist started to work on my makeup, while Tyler stood next toand observed the whole process.

He gave sinstructions as well. | could not stand it anymore and said, "Why don’t you do my makeup, Tyler?"

"If I could do it, | would have done it myself. Hold on." He looked coldly at the makeup artist. "This is called a n

eye shadow, right? Do you think she suits this color? Do you think it's appropriate for her to wear heavy makeup

in a dress this color?”
