Chapter 466
Theo was at a loss as to what he should do and turned toas he said, "You're in charge of the decisions made
at home."
That was a nasty trick. He wantedto play the bad guy.
I glanced at him coldly and said, "She's not the first irrelevant person to move into our house. Whatever."
When | finished speaking, | immediately turned and walked upstairs.
Theo walked up after me. He huggedfrom the back the minute we entered the bedroom. "I didn't mean to
have you take care of such prickly matters. | was trying to get you to reject their request. | would have kicked
her out the minute you refused.”
| understood what Theo wanted to do when | was walking up the stairs, which was why he did not need to
explain anymore.
"I know. Letgo. | want to take a shower."
"You're angry," Theo said steadfastly.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt| sighed wryly. "I'm not angry."
Theo only let go ofwhen he saw that my expression did not seem off.
When | walked into the bathroom, I filled the bathtub with water before stepping in. As | slid down into the water,
| closed my eyes.
| knew perfectly well why Quinn invited Cindy over.
She was threatening me. If | refused to help her, she would help Cindy get Theo.
It might have been useful againstin the past, but it would not work anymore. | would not stop them, nor
would | try to interfere in any way. If Theo got together with Cindy, | would step out of the relationship.
Besides, | was delighted to have both my enemies living right under my nose.
Theo was not in the bedroom when | finished my bath and cout of the bathroom. | could not be bothered to
blow-dry my hair and merely wiped it with a towel several times before sitting down at my desk. | prepared the
documents | needed for my video call.
Just then, Tyler called me. | picked up and asked quietly, "What's up?"
"Quinn is living under the sroof as you. It'll probably be easier for you to keep an eye on her yourself, right?"
Tyler laughed as he asked.
| pinched the bridge of my nose as tiredness washed over me. "She's not doing anything now, so there’s nothing
to keep an eye on. Helplook into her personal information. The more detailed, the better.”
| paused for a while before saying, "I'll email you a
document soon. Show it to my dad after you've read it."
Tyler answered softly, "Got it."
| took a look at the time. "I still have something else to take care of. I'll be hanging up now.”
"Wait." Tyler did not wantto hang up. "I'll take you t o the hospital tomorrow. We can't delay treating your
illness any longer.”
Annoyance flared inwhen | heard my illness being mentioned. "No need for now. We'll discuss that when |
have time."
Without waiting to hear how Tyler would try to convince me, | took my phone away from my ear and
disconnected the call.
Perhaps it was because the two women | hated were now staying in the shouse as me, so | was in a pretty

them.
Theo happened to walk in just as | was putting the bottle back into the drawer. The expression on his face
changed as he asked, "Are you in a bad mood?"
| nodded slightly.
He did not say anything else as he turned to walk into the bathroom.
The video call was about to begin. | took my laptop over to the couch and sat down.
When Theo finished his shower and walked out to see that | was in a video meeting, he sat down at the desk t o
do his work.
The meeting ended at eight o'clock. | stretched as | shut my laptop. Theo put down the pencil he was holding
and walked toward me. "Are you done with your work?"
I nodded. "The rest can be taken care of tomorrow."
