“Enough!” Curtis yelled at the top of his lungs.
Seekson looked at Curtis, “Of course you’ve had enough. That lady just accused you of using Pauline, didn’t you use
me too? How much money have you taken from home, and how much of it was mine?!”
Curtis felt a deep blow to his pride.,He cursed and slapped Seekson across the face. As a young and strong man, his
slap was definitely stronger than Old Mrs. Hammer’s. Seekson’s ears were ringing from the slap, and she could
taste blood in her mouth. She reacted and charged at Curtis, screaming and cursing, starting a fight with him. Old
Mrs. Hammer watched this scene, extremely anxious and tried to separate them.
