Blake, drifting in and out of consciousness, felt a warm hand holding hers. When she finally opened her
eyes, the blurred figure of a man
hovered over her, his features indistinct.
As Blake was rushed into the emergency room, Olivia stood beside Liam, who appeared visibly pale
and concerned. Olivia said, “Don’t worry, she’ll be okay. Liam, you don’t look so good. Are you alright?”
Liam, clutching his stomach and leaning against a wall, suddenly
collapsed.

In a lawless region of Northern Myanmar, Kevin found himself in a
familiar location.
“Kevin, news from Ventropolis. Blake is safe and has been taken to
the hospital,” one of his men reported, showing him a photo.
Kevin glanced at the photo and, while wiping a cold steel dagger,
ordered, “These are no longer needed here. Dispose of them.”
“Right away.” one of Kevin’s men responded.
The setting sun cast a golden glow over the reed-filled pond and stilt
houses, creating a picturesque yet dangerously deceptive scene. The
area, known for its tranquility and beauty, also harbored unseen
threats. Kevin had always known he could not offer Blake a stable
life. Choosing Liam seemed to be her destiny.
Three days later, Blake awoke to find Liam watching over her with
concern. “You’re awake? I’ll get the doctor.”
The doctor confirmed that she was out of danger. Overwhelmed by her ordeal, Blake cried silently,
inconsolable.
“It’s okay, you’re safe now. No one will ever hurt you again,” Liam reassured her, but Blake cried herself

Back at Jardin Corporation, Susan brought a confidential document to Cecilia. “Ms. Samford, someone
insisted this be delivered directly
to you.”
Cecilia, still frustrated that her plans for Blake had been thwarted,
dismissed Susan and opened the document. To her surprise, it
contained details about Blake’s adoption procedures, including a
photo of a six-year-old Blake.
“That’s…my sister!”
