At the scene, only Martin, Louis, Marian, and a few of the Frost family members remained.

Martin's previously protective demeanor towards Marian had completely vanished, and now he just looked at her coldly.

Suddenly feeling scared, Marian tentatively called out to him, "Martin."

To her shock, this call of "Martin" was met with a fierce slap from him. Marian's face turned to one side from the impact, and she

looked at Martin in disbelief.

Louis quickly stepped forward.

"What the hell are you doing?" Louis said as he pulled Marian to his side, "She's your sister."

"If she's my sister, she needs to be taught a lesson even more!" Martin, still fuming, pointed at Marian, "lI don't have a sister like

her."

Marian sniffled, choking back tears and not daring to make a sound.

"You still have the nerve to cry?" Martin glared at her, his face dark with anger, "In front of everyone, you dared to twist the truth to

suit yourself, and even tried to drag the whole Frost family down with you. | think you not only lack brains but also refuse to learn

from your mistakes! How can our family have someone like you?"

"I'm sorry." Marian sobbed, apologizing repeatedly, "| was really too scared."

"Don't make excuses for yourself!" Martin cut her off coldly, "If | had known you'd turn out like this, | should never have brought

you back in the first place. It would have been better if you'd been left for dead."

Marian bit her lip, crying even harder, her breaths short and uneven, trying not to sob loudly, but failing to hold it in.

Louis, looking on, couldn't help but feel spity, "Let it be, what's done is done. What's the use of scolding her now?"

Thinking of the paternity test report, his expression briefly froze. After this series of events, Marian's repeated disappointments had

completely severed her from his memories of young Yolanda. Instead of the overwhelming joy he had expected to feel, there was

only a faint sense of regret and sadness in his heart.

A sadness he couldn't quite explain. His Yoli was back, but also forever gone.

Louis couldn't quite articulate it, but he felt tired and sad.

Without saying much more, and no longer indulging her as he once did, he let out a heavy sigh and said to Marian, "Reflect on this.

You're not a kid anymore. You should be able to distinguish right from wrong and be responsible for your actions. You can't always

think you can hide behind others when you mess up."

After patting her shoulder, he left with Leo's support.

Martin didn't look back at Marian either and caught up with Louis to help him out.

Marian watched their retreating figures through teary eyes, confused. Now that she had truly becYolanda, why had the Frost

family's attitude changed?

When she wasn't Yolanda, they were willing to protect her at all costs.

She didn't understand what had gone wrong. They had felt a great debt and guilt towards Yolanda, which had led them to spoil her

unconditionally over the past two years, giving her the best of everything and shielding her, even when they discovered she had

used Sophia's work.

She thought that their guilt and love would make them choose to protect her without a second thought once they found out she

was the real Yolanda. Even if they scolded her afterward, it would just be because they cared deeply. She thought things would

blow over in a few days, but now, she couldn't quite grasp it.

Brandon chased out of the venue, but Sophia was nowhere to be seen.

He pulled out his phone to call Sophia. After a brief ring, the call was picked up.

"Where are you now?" Brandon asked.

"lI went back first." Sophia's voice was as soft and gentle as always on the other end, "You go ahead with your stuff, don't worry

about me."

"Where are you now?" Brandon insisted with the squestion.

"I'm in a cab," Sophia said softly.

"Tell the driver to pull over, I'm coming to you," Brandon said, already heading towards the parking lot.

Sophia was silent for a moment, "Can you not cover right now? | want to be alone for a bit."

Brandon didn't respond.

Sophia too, gripping the phone tightly, didn't speak. Her feelings were complicated: touched by Brandon's relentless protection, yet

envious of what Yolanda meant to him.

Right now, she was struggling to balance these emotions.

"I'm going to hang up now."

After saying that, Sophia hung up, still holding her phone, looking through the taxi window at the passing cityscape, feeling

somewhat lost and sad.

"Excuse me, where are you heading?" The driver asked, turning to look at her.

"Just drive," Sophia said, not knowing herself where she wanted to go, or where she could go.

She didn't want to go hand let Theresa see her upset, but if not home, she had nowhere else to turn.

The driver nodded without further words, driving aimlessly until Sophia asked to stop.

Sophia didn't notice where the car stopped. She just saw the river and asked to pull over; then wandered along it aimlessly until a

vaguely familiar hospital cinto view, making her pause.

She recognized that hospital; it was near the company.

Sophia's thoughts suddenly turned to Daniel, who was hospitalized.

Since he was rushed to the hospital with a brain hemorrhage from the company, he was likely staying in this hospital.

Sophia stared at the hospital building, lost in thought, but didn't dare to go in and inquire or disturb anyone.

Daniel wouldn't be happy to see her. Her appearance would only agitate him, just like it did to Aaron.

Sophia sighed deeply, turned to leave, and a confused female voice called from behind, "Sophia?"
