The wedding reception was finally winding down, and Cicely slipped out of her elegant bridal gown, ready to
change into another dress for the evening's toasts.
She emerged in a stunning red cocktail dress that hugged her figure, with a V-neck design that showcased her
delicate collarbones and graceful neck. Her waist was slender, her body's proportions enviable in their
perfection. Her hair, styled in soft waves, was gathered loosely at the nape of her neck, with a few tendrils
framing her face. Simple stud earrings complemented her lovely earlobes.
The delicate bride was radiant in red. Cicely rarely wore such bold colors, and today, she was truly a sight to
behold.
It was winter, and she wrapped herself in a fluffy faux fur coat. The dress was changed, but Cicely made herself
comfortable in the bridal suite and showed no signs of wanting to leave.
“I'm tired; weddings are no fun at all,” she grumbled, despite the beautiful and comfy ballet flats Seth had
thoughtfully provided for her. She lay sprawled on the bed, reluctant to move.
Emiliana stood by, helpless. “You only get married once, Cicely. One final push, toast with the guests, and it’s all
done.”d2
Cicely lay on her side, her fingers playing with the soft white duvet, still not convinced.
The door opened, and Seth walked in. “What happened?”
Emiliana was about to explain, but Cicely looked up at Seth with puffed cheeks and eyes sparkling with a hint of
grievance. “Tired.”
Seth sat at the foot of the bed, lifting Cicely’s feet onto his lap and gently massaging them. “I'll have someone
bring you something to eat in a bit.”
Emiliana reminded them, “It’s almost tto go out for the toasts.”
“There's no need to go out.”
Cicely blinked. “Not toasting?”
“I'll handle it.”
After a few seconds of silence, Cicely raised her other foot onto Seth's lap.
Seth continued to massage her feet as Emiliana looked away, feeling an unexpected pang of longing for such
love. When a man fell in love, it could be intoxicating.
Charlie knocked on the door, hurrying them along. Cicely sat up, her energy seemingly renewed. “I’m coming
too.”
“I thought you were tired?”
Cicely raised an eyebrow and huffed, “I think seizing the chance to flaunt our love is more important.”
Emiliana pinched the bridge of her nose, resigned to the couple's display of affection.
Seth carried Cicely from the room, with Charlie standing by. Issac was there as well, holding little Hugo in his

“Daddy’s holding mommy again,” Hugo noted, his day seemingly brighter for it. But Seth gave him a look that
seemed oddly stern.
Once in the banquet hall, Cicely insisted on being put down. Seth complied, and she immediately went to hug
Hugo.
“Issac, giveHugo.”
Before she could finish, Seth had already scooped Hugo into his arms. Issac couldn't help but feel a tinge of
animosity from Seth.
Cicely pouted, “Hugo...”
With Hugo in one arm and his hand holding Cicely, Seth said simply, “You are tired.”
“Now, I'm not.”
Seth pulled her close and kissed her cheek. “It’s the sif | hold him. You reach your goal without getting tired,
right?”
Cicely bit her lip, her eyes wavering. “What goal?”
“Aren’t you thinking of showing off our child - the ultimate show of love?”
Cicely fell silent, and even Emiliana couldn’t help but chuckle at Seth’s words. Hugo blinked, realizing he was a
little prop in their gof love.
Though Seth was indulging Cicely’s whims, holding the cute and bright child—who was clearly a chip off the old
block—brought more attention and admiration to Seth himself.
Watching Seth’s smug, proud smile, Cicely couldn't help but feel a bit grumpy. But when people complimented
her beauty, praised her handsson, and lauded her husband's excellence, Cicely couldn't deny the pride
swelling in her chest.
The evening continued without fatigue setting in. Later, they dined privately with Damon, Chloe, Kane, and
others, and returned hearly.
Tool-for-the-day Hugo fell asleep on the car ride home, his eyelids heavy after his meal.
Though they had housekeepers, Seth personally warmed smilk for Cicely. As he pushed open the bedroom
door, the woman who should have been in the bathroom was standing by the bed, her fur coat discarded. She
was in the process of letting down her hair.
Boxes were scattered across the bed, sopened. Clearly, she had been busy with something.
She turned at the sound of Seth entering, her hair, which had been up all day, cascading loosely over her
shoulders in gentle waves.
The dress, though decent, was vibrant red, and it outlined her curves stunningly. With her soft, tousled hair, she
was the picture of elegance and allure.
Unaware of the effect she was having, she casually brushed her hair aside and reached for the wardrobe.
Seth approached her, setting the milk aside, and asked, “Ready for a shower?”
Before she could get a syllable out, she was grabbed around the waist and flipped over. Leaning against the
closet, she was met with Seth's dark eyes. It was thick with emotion, like wine too rich to pour.
Her heart skipped, her body going weak at his look. “Are you drunk?”
“No,” his voice was a deep, husky whisper.
“Then what...”
“You intoxicate me.”
Cicely’s cheeks flushed, Seth’s flattery becoming smoother by the day.
He leaned in close, their foreheads touching, his eyes burning with desire. “Happy wedding day, Mrs. Diaz.”
“Ah, you don’t have to wish... mmh...”
Seth left no room for retort, capturing her lips in a fierce kiss that spoke of possession and desire.
The world around them faded away as they lost themselves in the intensity of their connection.
“You shouldn't... | haven't showered yet...” Cicely protested weakly, but it was clear that neither of them was
going to let that stand in the way of their new beginning.
It seemed there had only had sex that one tthese past three years.
“Let's shower together in a bit,” Seth's breath was scorching against her lips, his husky voice spilling from his
throat, each word clinging close as if reluctant to leave her.
“A shower won't take long.” Cicely continued. Before, he was injured, so they didn’t do much, but she wasn’t
about to play hard to get on their wedding night. She knew something was bound to happen and was mentally
prepared.
Therefore, when the topic cup again, Cicely’s voice carried an unintentional sweetness, soft and seductive,
stirring Seth deeply. His kiss landed on the corner of her lips as his hand stealthily unlatched the chain behind
her.
“No waiting, not even a second.” His words were a brazen declaration, and Cicely couldn't help wondering whose
rogue spirit he had channeled.
Reality didn’t allow her much tto ponder, as her clothing slipped off, hanging loosely from her shoulders.
Seth wrapped himself around her tightly, leaving kiss after kiss, each a burning brand.
Knowing that talking was futile at this point, Cicely felt the heat rise within her. One arm slipped from beneath its
strap, reaching for support and encircling Seth's shoulder, bearing the brunt of his relentless kisses that seemed
to find her every weak spot.
Her moans were muffled, and suddenly, Seth stopped, gazing down at the woman pinned against the wardrobe,
one arm draped over him.
Her vibrant dress hung off one arm, the other side askew revealing soft skin, her raven hair cascaded naturally
over her shoulders, cheeks flushed with arousal, eyes hazy with desire. She was a vision of disheveled beauty,

“What?” Her bright, beautiful eyes unavoidably carried a hint of bewilderment as she spoke, her gaze locked on
him.
The man, usually clad in a tailored suit and exuding an air of aloof elegance, was now filled with a hormone-
fueled hunger, radiating dominance and possession. Blushing, she burrowed into his embrace.
Seth held her close, their bodies fitting together seamlessly. “I might perish from your teasing.” He captured her
lips again, his voice a growl through gritted teeth.
Cicely felt that tonight she might indeed meet her end under his ministrations.
Recalling how relentless he could be, she bit her lip and timidly whispered a reminder, “Be gentle...”
Seth paused briefly, then a low chuckle reached Cicely’s ears. “Mrs. Diaz, you'll be the one to command.”
Cicely fell silent.
Later, seemingly as he had said, she mumbled something in her dazed state. And she vaguely remembered him
teasing her afterward.
In the early hours, she was half-asleep when he carried her out of the bathroom, holding her close. She
murmured, “With all those times, are we taking a gamble?”
A content Seth stiffened. Cicely felt it clearly but was too lethargic to care.
After a while, Seth sat up, looking down at her with serious eyes. “Your period starts on the tenth of every month
and ends on the sixteenth or seventeenth, right? What exact date did it end last month?”
Cicely thought for a moment, “the 17th? No, that doesn’t seem right, it must have been the 16th. It had stopped
by the t| showered in the evening.”
Seth frowned, pulled out his phone, and began checking something with a furrowed brow.
Cicely, puzzled, asked, “What are you doing?”Books Chapters Are Daily Updated Join & Stay Updated for All

“From now on, we'll avoid your fertile days.” he replied, pausing before adding, “I'll take precautions during
those times.”
Half-awake, Cicely realized what he meant. “You don’t want kids?”
Her tone seemed a bit off. Seth shifted his gaze from his phone to her, and sure enough, her frown deepened. He
felt a twinge of panic and quickly leaned down to kiss her. “I do. Let’s wait until Hugo is a bit older.”
“Why?”
Seth didn’t answer. The more he remained silent, the tighter Cicely’s frown became, the sleepiness evaporating.
“What are you really thinking?”
Seeing her irritation, Seth quickly held her close, kissing the tip of her nose with a seductively hoarse voice. “I
haven't had my fill of pampering you.”
Cicely paused, her ears suddenly burning with embarrassment. This man really was a polished pervert.
