Chapter 98 David’S Blind Date

As the two of them speaking, David’s phone rang. Sarah looked at him and said, “I’ll go out and see my mom first.

You can answer.”

“Okay.” David nodded and took out his phone. After Sarah left the room, he pressed the answer button.

“Mom, what is it?” The call was from David’s mother.

“David, I am in the lobby of the hotel. Where are you?”

David immediately stood up. “Are you in Savid Tower?”

“Yes. Where did you go? I have something to talk to you about.”

“I’m outside. Mom, what can I do for you?”

“It is inconvenient on the phone, so you should come back. I’ll wait for you.” Mrs. Brown hung up the phone without

waiting for David’s reply.

David hesitated for a moment before putting the phone down and walked outside the room. He saw Sarah walking

out her mother’s room and walked over.

“Sarah, I have to go back to the hotel.”

“Okay, you can go. Don’t worry about me.”

“Call me if you need anything.” David walked in front of her and raised his hand to rub her hair.

“Yes, I will.”

After getting Sarah’s affirmative answer, David reluctantly left her home. When he arrived downstairs, he

subconsciously looked upstairs and saw Sarah standing by the window. He immediately smiled and waved at her. He

then opened the car door, sat inside and drove away.

It was at most half an hour later when he reached at Savid’s Tower. David parked the car in the parking lot and

entered the hotel.

as soon as he entered he saw his mother was happily chatting with a mother and daughter. He walked over there.

“Mom, I’m back. Why are you looking for me?”

Mrs. Brown saw him back and smiled as she pointed to the chair beside her to sit down. She then pointed to the

mother and daughter opposite her and passionately introduced them to her son. “David, this is your aunt Abbett

and this is Mila.”

After Mrs. Brown finished speaking, David’s gaze landed on the mother and daughter pair. He politely greeted them

then looked at his mother. “Mom, what exactly is the matter? I have some urgent matters to attend outside.”

Ever since he returned to the city, his mother had been trying to find a way to introduce him to a girlfriend. Looking

at the situation today, he immediately understood what was going on.

Mrs. Brown glared at him. “The matter that I am looking for you today is a big matter! You cannot leave!”

After she finished speaking, she immediately smiled and looked at Mrs. Abbett opposite her. “This is my son. He just

came back from another place while ago and moved the hotel’s headquarters back here. He said that he will

develop his career here in the future.”

Mrs. Abbett smiled and kept looking at David. He was very handsome and had a good figure and appearance. She

was very satisfied with David. But she still maintained a little pride.

“Coming back to develop your career is pretty good. Mila’s father knows a lot of people. In the future, if they really

going to get married, Mila’s father will definitely help his career rise to a higher level.”

When Mrs. Brown heard this, she immediately bloomed with a smile. “Oh my, that would be great. David had been

gone for too long. He didn’t know many people here.”

David understood what was going on. He immediately looked at his mother. “Mom, I really have something to do

today!”

the rest were the waiters. David looked at his leaving mother and was somewhat helpless.

leave in a hurry, she knew he might not be interested in her.

David retracted his gaze and looked at her with an apologetic smile. “I’m sorry. I did not know that my mother

made such an arrangement today. Although I’m sorry, I still have to tell you that I have a girlfriend.”

Mila raised her head and blinked a few time. She silently picked up the coffee up and took a sip. Finally, she looked

at David and smiled, “Is that so? That’s great. I also have a boyfriend.”

Mila’s answer surprised David. “That’s great. I still have thing to do, so I have to leave first.”

After saying that, he got up and was about to leave. To him, every minute and second here was waste of his

precious time.

Mila quickly grabbed his arm and looked up at him, “Aren’t you walking too fast? Our problem hasn’t been resolved

yet. Sit down first.”

Mila was a forthright girl and her words carried a commanding tone.

David looked at his arm that was held by her and gently pushed her away. He looked at her in confusion. “You have

a boyfriend. I have a girlfriend. What else can we do?”

“If I’m not wrong, you mom definitely doesn’t like your girlfriend, right? Even if we don’t succeed in our blind date

this time, do you think your mom will stop here?” Mila asked him.

David felt she was somewhat right. After thinking for a moment, he sat down and asked, “Then what do you

mean?”

Mila looked at him and smiled. “It’s very simple. I am the same as you. My parents don’t like my boyfriend either.

Do you think our situation is the same?”

David nodded. “It’s the same. Then what do you have in mind?”

“The solution is very simple. We will pretend to be successful in our blind date. I’ll your girlfriend and you’ll be my

boyfriend. Then we will not disturb each other. What do you think of this method?” Mila supported her chin and

blinked.

David finally understood what she meant. He stood up and smiled apologetically, “I thought you had a good idea.

Now it looks like it’s a waste of time. Sorry, I don’t want my girlfriend to misunderstand. I can’t stay with you

anymore. Goodbye!”

After saying that, he strode out without looking back. He run to his car and drove away.

Sarah and Christian’s agreement only had less than half a month’s time. After waiting for nine years, he did not

want any accidents to happen in such a short period of time. So even if Mila’s method was feasible, he firmly

refused.

He didn’t want Sarah to have any misunderstand about him.

When David left, Mila looked at his tall back and narrowed her eyes. She watched him walk out and slowly walked to

the window. She crossed her arms and smiled as she watched David drove away.

“David, we will meet again.”

Mila smiled, took out her phone and quickly called her mother.

After that Sarah would worry about him, David drove his car to a distance then dialed Sarah’s number. He had liked

her for so many years, and he finally got along with her like a couple. He wished that she appear in front of him all

the time.

He really liked her.

He liked her cute face, her big eyes. He liked her kind heart. He liked the smile when she saw him.

He liked everything about her.

“Mr. David!” As soon as the call connected, Sarah’s sweet voice sounded. David’s heart instantly melted.

“Sarah, I have settled my matters. What do you want to eat for lunch? I will go to the supermarket to buy some

vegetables.”

“No need. There are still vegetables at home.”

“Alright, then I’ll just buy as I like.” David hung up the phone after saying that.

Sarah heard him hang up and shook her head with a smile.

After David hung up the phone, he drove to a nearby supermarket. He pushed the cart around the supermarket and

after a while, the things in the cart were piled up like a small hill. He bought everything he could.

He then put the things in his car and drove to Sarah’s house.

Sarah did not expect him to buy so many things. After a while, a small hill appeared on the floor of the living room.

Sarah looked at him speechlessly. “There is a market around. I can buy fresh vegetables every day. Why did you

buy so many things?”

David smiled. He pointed to the beads of sweat on his face and said, “Give a towel.”

Sarah went to the bathroom and a moment later, walked with a clean towel. She extended the towel to him.

When she wanted to take her away, David held her hand tightly. He reached out and pulled her into his arms. He

looked at Samantha’s room and then looked at her.

“Sarah, I really want to buy the whole world for you. As long as you have something you want, I want to buy it for

you. I want to give you everything.”
