Chapter 51 Why are You Going with Him?

David smiled and extended his hand, “Since you’re Sarah’s friend, then you are my friend. I will call you Kendall.

Hello.”

“Hello! I heard from Sarah that you have been protecting her since young. I wanted to come over and get to know

you. I did not disturb you, right?”

“You’re too polite! Quickly sit!” David smiled and walked to the opposite side of the two of them and sat down. He

first picked up the teapot and poured a cup of water for Sarah then placed it in front of her. “It’s hot. You guys drink

some water first.” Then he poured a cup for Kendall.

stay in the army and one will go home.” Kendall looked David apologetically and explained.

to leave, David couldn’t wait but stopped Sarah.

“I want to talk to Sarah about some private matters. Kendall, can you wait for her downstairs first?”

Kendall nodded, took her bag and went to downstairs. The moment she walked out, David immediately closed the

door. He walked to Sarah and sat down to look at her. He did not say a word and just looked at her in silence.

“Mr. David, what do you want to say?” Sarah felt weak in her heart when he looked at her. She kept avoiding his

gaze.

“Tell me the truth. Why did you follow him to the army?”

“You saw it too. He is not in good health and needs someone to take care of him!” Sarah lowered her head and did

not dare to look into his eyes.

“Is that really the case?” David did not believe what she said at all.

“Sarah, you married him on impulse. You have no relationship with him at all. The reason why you don’t want to

stay here is because you are afraid that you will not able to forget Julian, right?” David directly told her what was on

her mind.

Sarah’s lips moved. After a moment of silence, she looked up at him. “You are right! I have no feelings for him. But I

can’t face Julian either. Because of this, I want to go to army even more. Recently, my mind has been in a mess. I

don’t know how to face my mother. I don’t know how to face Julian. I want to be alone for a while. At least when I

go to the army, I only need to face him alone.”

“Mr. David, I have to go back to my house. I haven’t told my mother about this yet!” Sarah stood up as she spoke.

David heard her words and sighed lightly. “Alright, then I’ll give you a ride!”

“No need, Jayson is downstairs.” Sarah forced a smile at him, then turned around and walked out the door.

David followed her downstairs. Seeing her get into the car and disappear from his sight, he raised his hand and

gently pressed his forehead, then turned around and went back to the hotel a little lonely.

to look at Sarah. “Sarah, is he not interested in me?”

Because she was going to her mother’s house, Kendall got out of the car midway. On the way back, Sarah only

called Jayson to stop at the shopping mall in front.

down.

“Sarah, why did you come back at this time of the day? Where is Christian? Did you guys fight?” Her daughter

came back alone again. Samantha was more or less worried.
