Chapter 256 Stephen Cooper
Sarah turned around and saw three people in front of the baby bed, looking at the newborn little life and talking.
"Mom. . ." Sarah called softly.
"Sarah, you are awake?" Hearing Sarah's voice, the three of them all looked at her.
"Is it a boy or a girl?" Sarah looked at the pink and tender face on the baby bed. It was still sleeping with its eyes
closed. It looked so cute.
Without waiting for Samantha to speak, Jasmine smiled and said, "Sarah, it is a cute little princess. She is very
beautiful and very similar to you."
Samantha also looked at her daughter and smiled. "Sarah, it is a daughter! She is really very beautiful!"
"Really? Mom, I want to see her!" Even though she was sleeping by on bed, Sarah still wanted to see the child up
close.
"Okay! Mom will carry it for you to take a look!" Samantha smiled and carefully picked up her granddaughter. She
walked to the other side of the bed and hugged her daughter. She smiled and said, "Take a look. She really looks like
you. . ."
Sarah quietly looked at the little life in front of her. She was just born and her skin was soft and tender. Her hair was
not much and her eyes were tightly closed. Her nose was slightly raised and her cherry red lips were tightly pursed.
Her two pink little hands were tightly clenched together. She was really as cute as she could be.
Sarah sized up this little life. When she thought that this was the daughter of Christian and her, her heart was filled
with sweetness. She reached out her hand lovingly. She gently moved her little hand and touched her little face.
Sarah could not help but laugh.
David looked at Sarah's expression and smiled. "Sarah, have you given her a good name?"
Sarah nodded. "Yes, Christian said that if I gave birth to a daughter, she would be called Simona."
"That's a good name!" Jasmine also ran over and touched Simona's little hand like she liked it.
Sarah smiled and looked up at her mother. "Mom, how is Dad?" After seeing her daughter, what she was most
worried about was Ethan's safety.
Samantha heard her daughter's words and the expression on her face became serious, "Ethan was rescued but he
is still in the ICU and is still in a coma. . . Sigh. . ." After saying that, she sighed heavily.
"What about Christian? Did you call him?"
"Don't worry. I have already called him. I dare not tell him about his father. I will only tell him that you have given
birth. I don't know if the people from the Cooper Family have called him or not."
"Oh. . . I hope Dad can make it through safely this time!"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Ai, that's right! He was sick the last time. This time, the doctor said it might have something to do with his over
exhaustion. You also know that Julian's eyes were not good during this period of time. Ethan had to take over a lot
of work, but he had too much to worry about. Right, you definitely don't know that Vivian gave birth last night. She
said that she accidentally fell down the stairs when something happened to Ethan last night. It caused premature
labor. . ."
Sarah nodded. "Is that so? How is the child?"
"The child is quite good. I heard it's a boy!"
"Oh. . . It's good that she's fine. . ." Sarah smiled faintly and her gaze once again fell on her daughter. "Mom, does
she look like me when I was young?"
"Yes! She does look like you! When you were born, the nurse told me that you have a double eyelid. This little girl is
the same. She woke up at six this morning. When you woke up, she just fell asleep again."
David heard the conversation between the mother and daughter. He looked at Samantha and said, "Auntie,
actually, you should have called me last night. If there were not many people around, what if something bad
happened? Fortunately, nothing happened and Sarah gave birth safely. I still have some lingering fear when I think
about it now!"
"That's right! I only found out about you when I received David's call today. If Auntie gave us a call last night, I would
definitely come and accompany you!" Jasmine also nodded her head.
Samantha heard the conversation between the two and smiled gratefully. "Last night I was really busy. When
something happened to Ethan, and Sarah gave birth at the same time, I did not know which side I should go to."
Sarah looked at the two of them. "Ms. Jasmine, Mr. David, you don't have to worry. Anyway, I'm fine now. Isn't the
child pretty good?"
"This means that you are lucky. Just thinking about it makes me break out in cold sweat. There are so many people
in Cooper Family. Even if the people of Cooper Family are not here, there are still many people in hospital. David
and I can also help, but in the end, you are alone in the delivery room. . . Who thinks giving birth to a child like you?
It's too scary!"
When Jasmine thought about how there was no one outside the operating theater last night, she could not help but
feel a lingering fear.
"Sister, I'm fine now.”
Jasmine smiled. "Oh right. When I received the call this morning, Grandma knew about your delivery and insisted on
coming to the hospital to see you. I stopped her. But I estimate that she will come in two days."
Sarah looked at her mother and looked at Jasmine. "Grandma is already so old. It is better not to let her come.
When I am discharged from the hospital, I will carry the child and let her take a look."
Samantha also nodded her head. "Yes. Your Grandma is already so old, don't let her take any more trouble. When
the time comes, let Sarah go to your house."
When she heard that Jasmine’s 80 years old Grandma wanted to come to see her daughter, Samantha also could
not bear it.
"It's fine. Moreover, she will come here with the butler and bodyguards. Her body is still tough and when she sees
Sarah and the child, she will definitely be very happy."
"Okay, okay. But if Grandma comes, you must call me first."
"Okay, don't worry!"
Daphne was worried about her husband for the whole night. When Ethan was finally out of danger, her heart
slightly dropped to the ground. However, Ethan, who had been rescued, was still unconscious. He was even pushed
into the ICU.
In the past month, because of Julian's blindness, Daphne's spirit had already faced a huge challenge, but now her
husband suddenly had an accident. Her mental state was on the verge of collapsing.
Fortunately, at this time, she heard that her daughter-in-law, Vivian had given birth to a healthy baby boy for the
Cooper Family. This made her feel a little gratified in her heart.
After breakfast, Daphne first went to her husband's ward to take a look through the glass. Only then did she bring
Julian along to Vivian's delivery room.
When she opened the ward door, she saw Vivian's mother carrying her newborn grandson. Daphne walked in the
delivery room while laughing and teasing the little baby.
When Mrs. Holmes saw Daphne, Julian and Ruby walk in, she immediately smiled and said, "Mrs. Cooper is here?
Quickly come and take a look. The little guy looks too good!"
Daphne forcefully pulled out a smile and walked over to take a look. She took her grandson from Mrs. Holmes's
embrace and then looked at Vivian. "Vivian, last night when you were giving birth, no one came to accompany you.
. ."
Although such a big thing happened in Cooper Family, when the daughter-in-law was giving birth, no one from
Cooper Family was by her side. It was somewhat unreasonable.
Mrs. Holmes immediately waved her hand generously. "Oh, Mrs. Cooper, what are you talking about? Julian's father
had such a big incident, no one will blame you. Besides, don't you think the mother and son are safe now? It's fine!
It's fine!"
Vivian also smiled and nodded. "Mom, you don't have to take it to heart. I'm really fine!"
Ruby helped Julian sit down beside Vivian's bed. Julian also looked in Vivian's direction and said apologetically: "I
have wronged you and the child. . ."
Vivian looked at Ruby behind him and then smiled, "I am fine, as long as Dad is safe."
Julian listened to her and nodded. He slightly turned his face and asked his mother, "Mom, what does the child look
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmlike?"
Although he could not see it with his eyes, he was still somewhat curious about what his son looked like.
Daphne looked at the little guy in her arms. The little guy opened his big black eyes and curiously looked at this
unfamiliar world.
Daphne smiled, "He looks exactly the same as when you were young! This mouth, this eyes, even the nose is very
similar!"
Julian smiled. "Is that so? Can I hug him?"
Daphne carefully passed her grandson to her son and taught him how to hold the child so that the child could feel
comfortable.
When Julian received it, he felt the little fellow in his arms, and his legs kicked about vigorously. He couldn't help but
smile with his big hand gently caressed his little face.
The child in his arms felt his touch. He made a sound as if he was greeting him.
Mrs. Holmes saw how much the mother and son of Cooper Family loved the child and immediately smiled proudly.
"This child is too energetic. He only slept for one or two hours after he was born last night. He just kept his eyes
wide open and didn't sleep at all! With one look, he's just like a CEO!"
Daphne smiled and nodded. "Yes! I heard Sarah gave birth to a girl. It seems like this little guy will be in charge of
Cooper Family's company in the future. How can he not be energetic?"
Vivian heard mother-in-law's words and silently exchanged glances with her mother.
"It can't be such a coincidence, right? Sarah also gave birth?" Mrs. Holmes immediately asked back in surprise.
"Yes! The time seems to be about the same as Vivian, a little later than Vivian. Sigh. . . Our Cooper Family suddenly
had two more children, but Ethan. . ." When Daphne thought about her husband's accident at this time, she could
not help but feel a little uncomfortable in her heart.
"Mrs. Cooper, don't worry too much. I think Mr. Cooper's health will definitely get better." Mrs. Holmes saw the
expression on Daphne's face and immediately comforted her.
Daphne heavily sighed. "Sigh, I hope so. . ."
"That's right. This child has yet to come up with a name. Julian definitely has thought a name during this period of
time, right?" Mrs. Holmes looked at the child from the side and asked slowly.
Daphne looked at her grandson and remembered what her husband told her when he was healthy. She said slowly,
"Last time, Ethan told me that his name will be Stephen. At that time, I also thought that the name was not bad.
Since it was grandpa who gave it to me. . . Let's call him Stephen!"
When Ethan told Daphne this name, he did not mention the origin of this name. He only said about the name. When
Daphne heard Mrs. Holmes ask about the name, she just remembered this matter.
"Stephen?" Vivian felt that this name was indeed not bad. She looked at mother-in-law and asked.
"Yes! My grandson will be called Stephen Cooper."
Vivian immediately nodded her head in agreement when she heard that. "Father is still the best. The names he
gave are all so domineering! This is the name. Once you hear it, you will become a great person in the future! "
