Chapter 959

In the next few days, Rosalie completely stayed in the manor. She followed Jonathan wherever he went. At night

when Jonathan went to sleep, she would also force herself into his bed. They were husband and wife, so of course,

they would sleep together.

Even though Jonathan gave her a cold shoulder, she still stuck to him like glue.

Perhaps the potential of human beings was really infinite. For instance, she had never thought that she would be so

shameless one day.

As

for their two children who were still in the Youngblood residence, Rosalie took time to make as many video calls as

possible to interact with them. She felt guilty toward the two of them as she had left them for so many days.

Guillermo was better, but Jennifer had been with her since she was born. In the past, when she had to go on a

business trip, she would at most ask Connor and Kaylie to take care of Jennifer for a day or two before she came

back.

It was the fourth day they were away from each other. Jennifer asked her from time to time when she would come

back during the video call. It was obvious that she felt anxious.

Rosalie said, “Mommy will be back soon together with Daddy. Then, we will take you to the amusement park

together with Zeki, Felix, Karina, and Aiden. Okay?”

Jennifer was immediately attracted by Rosalie’s promise. When she heard that so many people were going to the

amusement park together, she felt happy instantly and hurriedly nodded.

However, Guillermo looked at Rosalie through the screen and asked, “Will Mommy really come home together with

Daddy?”

He emphasized hard on the word “together.”

Rosalie was stunned and then smiled. “Of course! Don’t worry so much, Guille because Mommy loves Daddy the

most in this whole world! And Daddy loves Mommy the most, too!”

That had never changed.

In the study of the manor, Jonathan was reviewing the documents handed over by Carlos. After that, he gave some

orders to Carlos regarding a few matters.

However, Jonathan’s gaze would float toward the door from time to time.

Carlos picked up the hint and reported, “Mr. Youngblood, Mrs. Youngblood is having a video call with Guillermo and

Jennifer now. Maybe she won’t be here so soon.”

Jonathan glanced at Carlos coldly. “Did I ask you about her?”

Carlos immediately zipped his mouth obediently.

“Mr. Youngblood’s actions really differ from his heart. He still cares about Mrs. Youngblood, but he still doesn’t want

to make peace with her!” Carlos exclaimed inwardly.

After a while, Carlos couldn’t help but open his mouth again. “Mr. Youngblood, back then, Mrs. Youngblood really fell

into the sea to save you. She didn’t want to let you die. What Mrs. Youngblood told you was the truth!”

Jonathan stared at Carlos. “I remember this. When you mentioned it earlier, I’ve already told you that I believe

what I remember more. Besides, you’ve run a check on Dr. Giuseppe. There’s no problem with him, right? There

was a record of my hypnosis therapy that day. There was nothing wrong with the whole procedure.”

“But…” Carlos wanted to continue.

Nevertheless, Jonathan inquired, “How many benefits did she offer you that you’re helping her?”

“No, I won’t dare!” Carlos hurriedly affirmed. “I just hope that you would understand the truth, Mr. Youngblood.

Don’t misunderstand Mrs. Youngblood anymore. Her feelings for you are true. Most probably, Mrs. Youngblood was

just a little impatient during the incident this time.”

“If her feelings for me are true, and if she can give up this life for me, then how could she betray me for another

person? Is my mother, who abandoned her husband and son, more important than her life?” Jonathan sneered.

Upon hearing that, Carlos hurriedly shut up. He knew that Jonathan would get angry again if he continued talking!

When Jonathan was almost finished with the work on his hand, a knock on the door of the study was finally heard.

Carlos breathed a sigh of relief. Most probably, Rosalie was there.

As expected, when the door was pushed open, Rosalie walked in. She sat on the couch quietly without disturbing

them as she had done those past few days.

Jonathan glanced at Rosalie. His irritable heart seemed to suddenly calm down because of her appearance.

Jonathan gave more instructions to Carlos and uttered, “That’s all for today.”

“Then, I’ll go back first.” Carlos left the study quickly.

Rosalie got up and approached Jonathan. “Are you done with your work?”

“How long are you going to stay here?” Jonathan asked coldly.

“I’ll stay here for as long as you are here,” Rosalie replied. “Jon, the children miss us very much. They hope that we

can go back earlier. Don’t you miss them?”

When she mentioned the kids, Rosalie seemed like she was about to cry.

“You’re still the same as before. Everything you do is for our kids. You were willing to marry me because you

wanted to give them a complete home. Now, you want me to go back with you just for their sake. Why are you so

eager to create a happy and blissful image for them?” Jonathan raised his eyebrows slightly.

Rosalie looked at Jonathan in a daze and suddenly took a deep breath. She got closer to Jonathan and grabbed his

collar. “Whatever I say now you just won’t trust, right?”

He looked at her with an indifferent gaze. Although he didn’t say anything, the expression on his face indicated that

he agreed with her.

“Believe it or not, I’m telling you now that when I married you, it was indeed partly because I wanted to give the

children a complete family. However, when we got the marriage certificate, the vows I made were my true

intentions. There was nothing fake in it! The truth that I told you about the cliff and how much I love you were all

true! All those are true!”

She blurted out a string of explanations in one go, letting out the depressive feelings that she had been suppressing

for days. Finally, she couldn’t take it anymore and exploded at that very moment.

A trace of surprise flashed through Jonathan’s eyes. He never expected Rosalie to suddenly say those words so

loudly!

Her wet eyes

and determined voice made it seem as if they were telling him her grievances. “Jonathan, believe it or not, you will

never meet a woman who loves you more than me in this world!”

After saying that, she let go of her grip immediately and ran out of the study. He was left alone in his chair. He

raised his hand to gently brush the collar that she had just grabbed.

“So, do you mean that you are the woman who loves me the most in this world?” he murmured to himself.
