Aurelia let out a mock laugh, "Why are you still pursuing Elvis even if he hates you?" That remark hit Melissa like a slap across the face, her temper flaring up.
“Excuse me? Which eye of yours saw Elvis hating on me? If it wasn't for you luring him in, he'd be with me by now." Admiring her own resilience, Aurelia said, “If this is a catfight you're looking for, I'll have a bodyguard to send you out." Melissa huffed, "I just want you to stay away from Leopold. He's married to Megan now, and he's her husband, not yours." Aurelia's dismissive laugh was infuriating, "A homewrecker preaching fidelity? How ironic! Leopold's got women lining up for him —my presence hardly makes a difference. And marriage? That can be undone, as his track record clearly shows." Megan was angry with each word. The last thing she wanted was to be labeled the homewrecker.

He's moved on to fresher pastures, or he wouldn't be entertaining so many ladies," Aurelia mused, stroking her chin as if lost in thought, “In fact, Leopold told me his new favorite is Katie, so young, so sweet, so pretty, so lovable. Best of all, she’s not clingy. Not like some kind of crazy glue that won't let go." Megan was furious, her breaths coming in short, angry gasps.
