Chapter 551 Avery had been away for quite some time, immersed in the world of film sets and distant locations. But today, he had made an exception to attend a school reunion, and after dropping Leah off at her place, he returned to his family home rather late.

As he stepped out of his car, the sight of a Rolls-Royce parked at the gate of the estate caught his eye. At this hour, who could be visiting? Certainly, it wasn't the paparazzi. They couldn't afford such luxury, and besides, this area was private property, strictly off-limits to uninvited guests.

The luxury car was sealed shut, its interior a mystery to Avery. And with the house lights all out, it didn't seem likely that any guest would still be lingering inside.

Aurelia was feeling like a thief caught in the act, her nerves on edge. Whenever she had her clandestine rendezvous with Leopold, she'd make sure to turn off the living room lights, terrified of being discovered.

Now, Aurelia was holding her breath, panicking like a cat caught with the cream. She hurriedly threw on her clothes, dreading the possibility of Avery catching her red-handed.

Leopold was the picture of composure. He dressed himself with an unhurried grace, restoring his impeccable appearance with the ease of a seasoned actor.

Avery knocked on the windows of the Rolls-Royce, but getting no response, he turned and made his way into the yard, perhaps to check if the owner was inside the house.

As Avery disappeared into the living room, Aurelia shot Leopold a glare before stealthily opening the car door and scampering out like a mouse. She sneaked into the yard, not heading for the living room but instead pretending to take a casual stroll around the back garden before slipping in through the rear entrance.

Just as she was about to ascend the staircase, Avery blocked her path.

“I thought you'd gone to bed” he said.

"1 did, but | couldn't sleep, so | decided to take a walk in the garden, Aurelia replied, struggling to maintain a casual tone.

Avery gave her a probing look. "Aurelia, there's a Rolls-Royce parked outside. Do you know whose it is?" “It's mine,” Aurelia blurted out without thinking.

Avery raised an eyebrow, "Yours? When did you buy it?" She never mentioned buying another Rolls-Royce.

"No, not new. It was part of the settlement when | divorced Leopold. I've never really used it, and it's been parked at Lunar Cove Estates. | had Yuna drive it over today so | could take it for a spin. Yuna will take it back to Lunar Cove Estates later.” Lunar Cove Estates was the property Leopold had left her in the divorce. Hearing this, Avery didn't press further.

Leopold. was known for his generosity, despite his dissolute ways.

"Why's your voice so hoarse?" Damn it! Her throat was raw from her passionate response, her voice betraying her. Despite her efforts to keep quiet, she had lost herself in the moment, succumbing to his advances.

"I had some spicy food today; she lied, feigning a yawn, “It's late, and you should get some sleep. Staying up will give you dark circles, and you can't afford that, not with your good looks." With that, she climbed the stairs, her body aching from the ardor of their love-making. Leopold had been insatiable, nearly driving her to the point of fainting.

She couldn't understand where he got his energy from, almost as if he had a pair of golden kidneys, an unstoppable force.

Nearly every other day, he'd come over, not leaving until he had conquered her six or seven times. At this rate, she feared her body would become weak. She certainly didn't possess golden kidneys.

Once in her room, she opened the curtains for a glance outside. Leopold had already driven away. She suspected he was getting a thrill from these secret liaisons.

Men were all the same, weren't they? The wife was good, but the mistress was better.

If she fell pregnant again, would he seek out other women to satisfy his needs? The thought sent a wave of tumult through her heart, leaving her restless. During her previous pregnancy, he must have had other women. With his hormone levels so high, how could he resist? Being too potent was not necessarily a good thing for a man, and it often led to infidelity. One woman simply wasn't enough to satisfy him.
