Arnolds face immediately darkened, and he snapped, “Get out, | don’t want to see you.” Magnolia whimpered and started to cry, “Arnold, I'm your mother. | carried you for nine months, and you're more important to me than my own life!” Arnold felt the irony deeply, “My mother is dead in my heart, and you're not my mother!” He called for the security guard outside and had Magnolia thrown out.
Aurelia didn’t know what to say. She just stood silently by the side.

Aurelia snorted. She was well aware of her own situation. She knew the dangers that lurked, but she wasn't a pushover.
