On stepping out of the living room, she pulled Leopold into the backyard, “Why a wedding? We're not even back together yet?” Leopold held her hand, caressing it gently, “Whether or not you want to get back together, | want to give you a wedding.” His eyes sparkled with warmth. He quickly slipped a diamond ring onto her ring finger, giving her no chance to resist.
The ring was unique, designed by him, and featured a rare, heart-shaped, red diamond at its center. Red was the rarest color for a diamond, making this one truly one—of—a—kind.
Aurelia felt the weight of the ring on her finger. She tried to remove it, but couldn't.
His lips curled into a seductive smile as he gripped her hand again, “Once my ring is on, it's not coming off.” “Leopold...” She wanted to say something, but he silenced her with a finger on her lips.
“I want to give you a wedding, Aurelia. | want you to wear my ring. Don’t reject me.” “But...” “There are no buts.” He leaned in, kissing her lips.
Her heart was in chaos. She knew he had announced the wedding in front of everyone to give her no chance to decline.
