He should have had a wealthy and warm family, should have grown up healthy, cheerful, and outgoing. Instead, he was abandoned at a young age and now, due to a lack of love and attention, he was diagnosed with autism.
"And his condition..." the director still showed concern for the child.
Joshua replied, "I'll find the best psychiatrist for him." As he said this, Joshua's gaze shifted to the single bed behind the director, where another little boy sat, huddled and looking just as vulnerable. "What about this child?" Joshua inquired.

"I saw a lady earlier who seemed quite close to him. Is she planning to adopt him?" Joshua asked, noting the shared plight between the boy and his own son, which piqued his concern.
"The lady cwith a younger woman. They took the child from the orphanage for a while, promising him a better life, though they didn't say anything about adoption. They mentioned giving him a bit of happiness for a time. But just earlier, they explained that due to their busy schedules, they couldn't look after him for a bit and had to bring him back to the orphanage. They said they'd cback for him after stime," the director shared.
Joshua listened and pondered for a moment. He was unsure what Angelina was up to, borrowing a child from the orphanage and then returning him when it got inconvenient.
What was she treating the child as? This kind of back-and-forth would only make the child's mental state more fragile.
Looking at the child's timid gaze, Joshua felt a pang of empathy. "In a few days, I'll arrange for him to see a psychiatrist, one-on-one therapy." Perhaps it was fate or simply compassion, but Joshua wanted to help the child.
The director was overjoyed at his offer, quickly saying, "Really, that et wonderful! On behalf of the child, thank you, Mr. Whitman." "Sure, hand over the paperwork to this gentleman," Joshua said, standing up and handing the task over to Reginald.
He left the orphanage with the child in his arms.
