Chapter 484
She pondered for a moment, then glanced at Daisy, “Has your friend been living abroad all this time? When is she
coming back?”
Daisy had no idea when this fictitious “friend” would return. “She’s loaded, and she’s got plenty of houses to live in.
You can let Ms. Grace stay here.”
Allison shook her head, “Can you get in touch with her? I want to buy this house.”
Without hesitation, Daisy replied, “Sure, I’ll give her a call right now. You tidy up a bit.”
Daisy went to the bathroom, took out her phone, and called Jason. She tried a few times, but couldn’t get through.
She returned to the bedroom, “My friend must be busy. She didn’t pick up. I’ll let you know when she calls back.”
Daisy was a close friend of Allison, so she noticed that Allison had been off lately. She speculated that it was

a permanent solution. No matter how good someone else’s organ was, it was not as good as your own. It was
unknown what would happen to the body after the transplant and how long one would live.
“Allison, I’ll get some seafood. We’ll have a seafood platter tonight, just the two of us.”
Allison nodded in agreement, and the two began to pack up Allison’s everyday items. Soon, Tom’s car pulled up
downstairs. Tom climbed the stairs and moved Allison’s things to Powell Estate. Then he handed the keys to Allison,
“Ms. Zimmer, the houses in Powell Estate are all fully furnished, so you can move in anytime.” Allison expressed her
gratitude.
That evening, she and Daisy had a seafood platter at home. She had been living at Blue Mountain Estate for almost
a year, and she had been through a lot.
Allison took a sip of beer, the cool liquid flowing down her throat.
Daisy took a bite of seafood, “Allison, I’m planning to move to the Boswell family.”
Allison looked at her, her eyes bright and shiny.
Daisy smiled, “But I’m actually happy, because I want to be with Frances.”
Mentioning Frances, Daisy’s eyes seemed to light up, “I’ve heard rumors about him before and thought he was a
sickly man who couldn’t do anything. I didn’t want to be just a tool or a puppet for a alliance marriage, especially
not by marrying someone I’ve never met and who is physically challenged. But these past few days with Frances
and the Boswell family, I found he’s nothing like the rumors. We share common interests. The books he’s read, and
the movies he likes, I like them too. I found out he is a man of character, cultured, refined and kind.”
Daisy’s eyes were still bright, “I don’t know if this is love, but I want to take care of him. I want to take care of him
for a lifetime. Even though he’s the son of the Boswell family, his life isn’t as great as it seems. Fate has been too
harsh on him.”

Allison knew Daisy wasn’t drunk. “Are you sure about this?”
Daisy nodded, “I’m sure, very sure.” She had never been clearer than she was at that moment.
Allison smiled, “Then best wishes to you, Daisy.”
The next day, Allison moved into Powell Estate, a 120-square-meter fully furnished two-bedroom apartment.
Located on the 12th floor, it had floor-to-ceiling windows with a clear view of the Powell Bridge outside. With ocean
views as far as the eye could see, when she opened the window, the outside wind blew in. Allison gazed at the
scenery outside, seemingly lost in thought.
From this angle, she could see the Flanagan Mansion behind the Powell River. From this point of view, the Flanagan
Mansion seemed so small, like a speck of dust in the galaxy.
At that moment, her phone rang. Allison glanced at it; it was a call from Lucian. She answered the call. “Hello.”
“Do you like it?”
Allison gazed at the scenery in front of her, knowing what he was referring to, “I do.”
