Kendra stole a glance at Allison. Allison seemed to have completely ignored her. Her eyes were shut while Jay, the
makeup artist, worked diligently. The eyeliner was done, and the eyeshadow color was light, just the way Allison
liked it.
Jay wasn’t a fan of heavy, gaudy colors either; Allison’s eyes were beautiful enough on their own.
Allison remained silent, and Jay did the same. He sighed secretly, wondering how much of big shot Sadie was for
her to send her assistant to poach another star’s makeup artist.
