Chapter 192 Say That Again!
Elias frowned slightly. “Why did you suddenly think of that? It’s in the past now, so let’s
forget about it.”
Amanda could only smile as a reply. “I just feel ashamed. All my father ever did was either
ask you for money or take your child away.”
“It’s not your fault, so why would you be ashamed?” The man’s tone was calm. He never
thought that Amanda was to blame for this.
Elias had a point, but Dick was her father, after all.
Amanda didn’t say anything more until he pulled up in the parking lot near the
amusement park. The two hurriedly entered the amusement park and looked around.
There were children everywhere, so they would have a hard time finding Aiden.
Amanda looked at the man next to her. “Let’s split up and search. I’ll go this way, and
you’ll go that way.”
With that, she got ready to turn around and leave.
Elias, however, grabbed her hand and held her back. He took out his phone and checked
the GPS, which indicated that the target was nearing them.
“It’s okay. The GPS says that he’s less than half a mile from us. Come with me.”
Elias walked to the left. Amanda walked a little slower because of her high heels, so the
man gripped her hand and pulled her along as they walked through the crowd.
Amanda’s foot bent a little, and she almost fell among the crowd.
The man held her arms securely and pulled her into his embrace.
Even though Amanda didn’t want to be too close to him, she lost her balance, so she
subconsciously hugged the man’s tall body.
The man protected her in his arms as they painstakingly made it out of the crowd.
Amanda looked at the throng of people behind her, instantly feeling relieved. “How much
further?”

They’re very near. Looks like they’re on some ride.“
Amanda was looking everywhere for Dick’s figure as well. It would be too difficult to spot
Aiden in a place like this, so she decided to look for Dick instead.
Elias followed the GPS indicator and slowly walked toward the target.
The two arrived at the merry-go-round, but they didn’t see any trace of Dick and Aiden.
At that moment, Amanda grew a little anxious as she stood on tiptoe, scanning the place.
“Where are they? How come I don’t see them?”
Elias was confused as well. The GPS indicated that they are right here, so why aren’t they
in sight?

Amanda took out her phone, trying to dial Dick’s number again. It might go through this

The phone kept ringing, but no one answered.
Amanda suddenly heard a familiar ringtone, and she wondered why it sounded so familiar.
It sounded like Dick’s ringtone from many years ago.
Amanda looked toward the source of the ringtone and caught sight of a middle-aged man.
He was standing right outside the fence of the merry-go-round.
At that moment, Dick took out his phone. When he saw that it was Amanda, he answered
the call. “Why are you calling me again? I told you I’ll send the child back later. Why are
you so impatient?”
As Dick spoke, he looked everywhere in search of someone.
In reality, he was even more panicked than Amanda and Elias at that moment because he
accidentally lost Aiden again.
Dick was gravely anxious at that moment. If Amanda knew about it, she would kill him.
That was why he had to find Aiden as soon as possible and send the latter home!
However, in the next second, two figures appeared in front of Dick, blocking his way.
Amanda and Elias stood in front of Dick with cold looks on their faces.
Dick was stunned. What a terrifying coincidence…
“Amanda, Elias… What a coincidence! Are you here to play too? I won’t bother you
anymore, then. I’ll be leaving-ah!”
Dick turned around to escape, but Elias grabbed him and forcefully dragged him back.
“Do you think you can escape? Where’s the child?” Elias wasn’t interested in the sc*m’s
motives, but he was anxious when he couldn’t see the child anywhere.
Amanda didn’t spot the child, either. Her heart skipped a beat as she said, “Dick! Where
did the child go?! Who allowed you to just take the child away?!”
“Is this how you talk to your father? How can a daughter call her father that…” Dick began
to change the topic, feeling extremely guilty.

Dick stuttered, “Aiden went to the toilet… W-Wait for him.”

didn’t accompany him to the toilet? You let him go to the toilet alone?”
“I wanted to accompany him, but he said that he wanted to do everything on his own—”
Before he could finish speaking, Amanda growled at her sc*mmy father, “Which toilet is it?
Take me there! I’ll look for him!”
Dick was dumbfounded.
Where would they look for Aiden?
He could only grit his teeth and lead the way toward the toilet furthest away from them.
Elias was furious. He lost his patience as he said, “My son went to a toilet so far away, but
you didn’t wait for him outside? How nonchalant can you be?”

Amanda sensed that something was wrong. “You’re not pranking us, are you? Did you hide
the child somewhere?”
“I didn’t! I’ll just tell you the truth so that we can look for Aiden as soon as possible. I took
him to the merry-go-round, but then he said that he wanted to eat ice cream, so I went to
buy some. When I came back, he was gone from the merry-go-round, and I’m looking
everywhere for him too, but I couldn’t find him…”
As Dick watched Elias’ and Amanda’s faces turn from shock to anger, his voice grew even
smaller. He knew he was done for.
Elias grabbed his collar and threw him against a wall at the side. The impact sent searing
pain down Dick’s
back.
“What the hell did you just say? You lost him? Say that again!!” Elias’ eyes widened in fury
as he seethed.
Amanda was stunned as well, and she recovered herself after a long while.
When she
aw her useless father getting thrown against the wall, she walked over and asked, “What
did you just say? You lost him? How did you lose him, anyway? Who allowed you to take
him away just like that? What right do you have to lose the child?! I’m going to kill you,
Dick Leans!”,
Amanda truly wanted to kill this sc*m of a father. How could he lose her precious darling?
She strangled Dick with both her hands, but she wasn’t strong enough to choke a man to
death.
Elias pulled her aside. “Ignore that sc*m for now; our utmost priority is to look for the
child. Let’s check. the surveillance cameras.”
It was only then that Amanda recovered her wits. She nodded and said, “Right. Let’s go
and check the surveillance.”
