“W-What’s the matter?” She seemed flustered as if she had done something wrong.
“What were you thinking? The water is boiling.” He glanced at the pot of boiling water and
walked over to turn off the stove.
Only then did she snap back to reality. “Sorry, I was lost in thought just now.”
“Be more careful next time. It can be dangerous.”
“Okay…”
Then, he tried to ask in a relaxed tone, “Are you considering giving Elias another chance?
It seems like he already knows that Aiden is his son.”
