Seeing that Saul had apologized, Jessica and Kevin lowered their heads.

though. her hands kept trembling the whole time.

Meanwhile, Saul was upset beyond words.
After taking a deep breath to compose himself, Saul looked at Caspian and asked, “We can
leave now, right?”
“Sure,” Caspian replied with a nod. “But before that, I have a word of advice.”
His expression turned icy as he continued, “There’s no way of hiding the truth. You know
very well what you Masseys have done. If you want to save yourselves before it’s too late,
turn yourselves in. Maybe you’ll get a more lenient sentence.”
Saul stiffened.
He picked up on the hostility in Caspian’s words and figured the latter didn’t intend to let
the Masseys off the hook.
Caspian was merely holding back for the time being,
Faking innocence, Saul retorted, “That’s nonsense. I don’t know what the hell you’re
saying!”
In reality, he was fraught with anxiety.
“Let’s go!” Saul barked before leading Jessica and Kevin out of Riverside Villa.
As Kevin walked out, he glanced at Eric. He knew that Eric was done for.

Caspian glanced at both men before instructing, “Take them away. Hand them over to the
Inspector General’s office!”

She had remained quiet all along because she didn’t think it was right for her to get
involved.
After all, Saul was still her uncle, and she didn’t want the Masseys to end up too terribly.
However, deep down inside, she knew that Eric couldn’t have committed all those crimes
alone.
Therefore, she didn’t try to put in a good word for the Masseys. If she did, she would’ve
felt bad for all the people who had suffered at the hands of the Massey family.
Willow chose to have faith in Caspian, and from the looks of it now, he didn’t seem to be
going after the Masseys. That was rather unlike him.
“It’s not that simple, of course. This matter needs to be thoroughly investigated,” Caspian
replied with a faint smile.
Willow shook her head sullenly. True enough, things weren’t quite so simple, and Caspian
would get to the bottom of things.
Alas, the Masseys had brought the whole thing upon themselves.
Meanwhile, Kate’s greed was stirred up by the 50 million dollar check that Cora was
holding.
She didn’t care about the situation between Caspian and the Masseys.
