Willow’s tears made Caspian frantic,
This was a happy occasion. They were taking their wedding photos, so why was she
crying?

“Honey…” Caspian called out anxiously.
“It’s fine. I’m fine. I’m just so happy!” Willow replied as she smiled through her tears.
Caspian suddenly recalled that he and Willow had gotten married without a formal
proposal. Now he understood why Willow had gotten so emotional.
Soon, they were done with their photoshoot, and they went back to Sealand Hotel,
Azure Hotel was Sealand’s most luxurious hotel, and inside one of its lavish suites, Billy
was busy sucking up to Kristian.
“Kristian, I’ve already sent people out to find out who hit you. I’m sure we’ll hear the news.

“How dare he mess with you in Sealand? He’s got a death wish!” Billy declared haughtily.
“Stop boasting. Wait until you find him first.” Kristian scoffed in disdain.
Billy nodded and smiled. Groveling was the only thing he could do now.
Just then, someone came rushing into the suite.

Kristian looked up and saw Sam limping over to him.
“What happened, Sam? Why are you limping?” Kristian asked in shock.
“Someone had the nerve to beat me up, Mr. Jennings!” Sam howled.
“What? Who’s the ignorant fool who dared to hit you? Doesn’t he know you work for me?”
Kristian growled in anger.
Sam was Kristian’s trusted subordinate who helped him collect protection money from the
people in Sealand, especially from Sterling Bay. Due to its status as a tourist hotspot, there
was always a steady stream of people. They got a lot of money from the beach.
Meanwhile, Kristian was taken aback. What was going on today? Not only did he get hit,
but even his underling had been beaten up as well. What rotten luck!

“Who the hell is he?” Kristian asked as he stared at Sam.

now. It said Southlake Corporation!” Sam said.
“Southlake Corporation? I’ve never heard of it! What kind of lousy company is that?”
Kristian
remarked in confusion.
He had never even heard of the name before.
“What? Did you just say Southlake Corporation? Are you sure it was Southlake
Corporation?” Billy exclaimed as his expression stiffened.
“That’s right. It was Southlake Corporation,” Sam affirmed while nodding.
Billy froze as all the color drained out of his face.
Resentment swelled up within him.
He had looked into Caspian’s background before and knew that Southlake Corporation
belonged to Caspian’s wife.
Billy would never forget Caspian.
If not for Caspian, he would still be a member of the elite society in Easton!
He would not have fallen so far from grace!
“What’s the matter, Billy? Do you know Southlake Corporation?” Kristian asked.
“Of course! Not only am I familiar with that company, but I have beef with them!” Billy
declared through gritted teeth.

quickly said as he took out his phone.
Before leaving Sterling Bay, he specifically took a photo of them.
Billy took the phone. True enough, the people in the photo were Caspian and Willow!
He clenched his fists. His body shook uncontrollably as rage swelled up inside him.
“Caspian! The grudge between us will never be settled!” Billy roared maniacally. He could
not
contain his wrath.
Kristian eyed Billy sympathetically. Billy was indeed quite pitiful.
Out of curiosity, Kristian looked at the photo as well. With just a single glance, his fury
surged
as well.
