He leaned in close to her, saying, “This isn’t a discussion. Get on board with the baby-making plan, and

you can head back to the company. Otherwise, you can play the little lady of leisure at home-I can

afford to keep you.”

Classic Elgin. Always forcing her to do things she hates, using every trick in the book!

Letitia, grinding her teeth retorted, “Elgin, I despise you. Aren’t you afraid that if I do get pregnant with

your child, I might intentionally miscarry just to get back at you, just to hurt you?*

After hearing her, he cracked a smirk, “No, you wouldn’t.”

“Yes, I would! Because I hate you!”

“What do you mean, ‘get pregnant with my child?” Elgin shot back, his voice deepening, “That child

she to do?

Letitia turned back, only to find Elgin still standing there. She confronted him directly. “Did you instruct

the servants to move my stuff?*

“Yes.”

“Where to?”

The master bedroom,” Elgin replied. “You’ll be sleeping with me from now on.”

Letitia couldn’t care less about where to sleep, her mind was fixated on her wireless headsets!

She hurried to the master bedroom.

It had been a while since she’d been to the second floor, and she noticed it had been redecorated. New

carpets, new curtains…Stepping into the master bedroom, she spotted even more changes.

Gone were the masculine black, white, and gray lanes, replaced by touches of femininity. The walk-in

closet was filled with brand-new women’s clothing in her size.

Even the bathroom was stocked with her personal toiletries…

Leia cealized that when Elgin wanted to treat someone well, that person truly became the luckiest
