Chapter 734

The banquet on Sunday night would start at 6 pm. Lewis picked Larissa up to prepare for the banquet at noon.

The venue of the banquet was Gary’s villa, which was located in Glory Hill. The collection of villas there were all

owned by the rich and wealthy of Westonia.

It was the most upscale real estate in that city. Before this, Larissa never had the prly lege of stepping foot there.

Her impression of Gory HII came from the Internet and through various dramas. Yet, as the car drove past

luxurious mansions, she realized how little she knew of Glory Hill.

She couldn’t ever begin to imagine the lives of wealthy people here.

The villas there had vast private gardens, encrmous swimming pools, and unique architecture.

Larissa was in awe. She had thought that the Seymour family’s villa she lived in for ten years was already luxurious.

Alus, it paled in comparison to the vilas here.

Gary was a Calderian at heart

He designed his villa. It was charming and classical.

The landscape around the villa included artificial mountains, allowing river, and a stone bridge going across it.

The villa itself was built in a classic Caldurian style.

Stepping inside. Larissa felt like she was transported back in time, which lelt strange.

There were two floors to the main building.

The first floor was the living room, while Gary’s bedroom and the study were on the second floor.

Lewis led Larissa lurther inside. The household stall had received news of Larissa’s arrival. They came forward with

smiks on their faces

and greeted her politely.

“Ms. Larissa, nice to meet you!”

From childhood, Larissa had only enjoyed such enthusiastic treatment at her ollice.

The household staff of the Seymour family had never treated her well. Although Larissa was

how to carry herself.

a was a little surpris

surprised at their reception, she knew

She put on a gentle smile and responded politely, “Nice to meet all of you.”

“Your stylist has arrived and is waiting in the guest room on the second floor,” A middle–aged man who looked like a

buller stepped forward. He turned to Lewis, “Sir, Mr. Logan Senior is still at the office handling some business

matters. He might not be back for a while.”

Lewis nodded and said, “Let us know if he comes back.”

Larissa followed Lewis upstairs, looking around with curiosity.

The furnishings in the villa were all made of solid hardwood. It gave off a grand and majestic vibe.

Even the stairs leading to the second floor were made of solid wood, producing a dull sound when stepped upon.

There were many rooms on the second floor, but only Gary lived there. He liked being aone and disliked being

disturbed by others.

When Lewis spent the night there, he had to stay in the building next door that was prepared for guests.

“Gary had two toorns next to his renovated for you and Aster to move in.” Lewis opened the door to one of them.

Larissa lell as if she was transported into another world.

The bedroom was obviously meant for a child.

The walls and celing were covered in colorful murals. In addition to a bed and desk, the room was equipped with

playing laclities like a slide, a trampoline, and a ball pit, Lastly, there was a huge pile of toys in the room.

……

“There’s more,” Lewis opened the windows in the room and pointed to a spot outside. “Gary heard that many

Aldovian children loved Treehouses, so he had his workers buld one for Aster.”

Larissa looked in the direction he pointed and saw a large tree in the courtyard. There was inceed a small wooden

house on the tree. Alas, the windows and deers were tightly closed, so she could not see what was inside.

Nonetheless, this didn’t stop her from being moved to tears.

“Why are you crying? Lewis found it amusing. “Isn’t it a given for Gary to treat Aster well?

The lack of familial affection in her childhood made Larissa very appreciative of every kind gesture she received

from others.

In her eyes, no one should take the kindness of others for granted, not even parents to their own children.
