110- Early and eating My half of the closet has at least twice as much in it as it did yesterday morning. Which still isn’t that much since most of my things are at my place, but still. Did Bellamy put sof his stuff over here too? | sort through and nope. Every single additional item is in my size. Hoodies, a dress, a couple pairs of shorts. Each item is something | would have picked for myself. Each item is hanging there, perfectly new looking but with no tags.
Bellamy must have gotten more than I thought when we went shopping. | didn’t see any of this stuff get purchased. My eyes narrow. How much did he spend? | have clothes already, | didn’t need new ones. Although sof the items DO look really comfortable. Inspiration strikes and | check the little bit that’s over by the dresser. Sure enough, there are a collection of tags that have been cut off the new items. | check the price of a few items but then | have to stop because I'm starting to feel nauseous. As someone who buys most of my clothes second hand, the cost of these clothes is insane. They're not fancy brand names or anything, | suspect Bellamy knows | would object to that. But they're nice, good quality items, and definitely completely new. Part ofwants to turn them down, but | know that will hurt Bellamy’s feelings. Buying and providingwith clothes is a big deal to him and it’s not like he can’t afford it. | decide to let this one slide. | just hope he doesn’t overdo it too much. There's only so much closet space after all! | step into the ensuite and get dressed in a soft medium blue hoodie that Bellamy must have gotten as well as a grey tank top and black leggings that | already had with me. | consider shoes and have to repress a sigh when | realise there is a brand new pair of boots in my size that have ‘magically’ appeared in the closet. | decide to just slip on a thick pair of grey socks and call it done. | leave Bellamy’s room, holding the door handle to stop it from clicking as it closes and pulling it closed slowly. Only then do | carefully, gently turn the handle back into place and release it. Megan's voice behindmakesjump.
“Sneaking out?” | nearly leap out of my skin.
“Bellamy is still sleeping.” | answer. | should have known that morning person Megan would be up. Plus, | know she still isn’t sleeping amazingly well. She looks at my face critically.
“Bad night?” She asks. | nod and give a half shrug. She leadsinto the main bathroom and gets a washcloth.
She soaks it in cool water then haslay it over my eyes for a few minutes to soothe them. While I sit there with my eyes closed she moves around the bathroom. | can hear the sound of her hair pulling through a brush.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt1/4 110- Early and eating “Did you and Bellamy fight?” She asks calmly. | shake my head so hard that the washcloth falls off my eyes.
“No, definitely not. I just had bad dreams... all night.” | sigh. Megan repeats my sigh..
“I know the feeling.” “This is a disgusting tto wake up. | can’t believe you wake up this early on purpose.” | add, changing the subject and trying to brighten the mood. Megan winks at me.
“Not everyone likes to stay up all night, you psycho.” She answers. | shrug.
“That's true. There is one bright side to being up this early.” “Yeah?” “Yep. We have heaps of tso let's make the most epic breakfast ever. I'm thinking pancakes, eggs, the works.” A grin breaks out across Megan's face.
“That sounds like a brilliant idea.” Megan and | don’t just make pancakes and eggs. We make toast, bacon, muffins, sausages, hash browns and a whole cereal station. Only to be let down when we realised that we are out of juice and have enough for like, one person to have coffee. Megan collapses into a stool at the bench, her head in her hands sulking.
“This was so close to being perfect.” She sighs. | think for a moment then grin.
“I have a solution!” | grab my phone and text Darrien.
Ryann- Megan and | made a fancy breakfast, but we don’t have enough coffee or orange juice.
If you can bring those items for us we might be willing to share.
Darrien- ETA 15 minutes. Just got to stop at the store. See you soon! After a moment's thought, | send a second message to Aaron.
2/4 110- Early and eating Ryann- If you're planning to stop by this morning, Megan and | made breakfast. Cwhen you're ready.
Aaron- With breakfast all ready, | head upstairs to wake Bellamy. | get to the edge of the bed and stop. I've never actually purposefully woken him before. | kind of awkwardly place a hand on his shoulder and shake a little.
“Bellamy?” | say quietly. He groans and his eyes crack open.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm“What tis it?” He grumbles. | shrug.
“Not sure, about eight maybe?” | answer. He groans again. He must be more tired than | thought.
“Megan and | made breakfast, Darrien and Aaron are joining us. Cdown when you're ready, okay?” | move to get up but he grabs my hand and pullsback down. | stumble and collapse into his chest. He givesa sleepy smile, his golden eyes staring into mine.
“Hey you.” He greets me, | can’t help but giggle.
“Hi, good morning. Are you gonna chave breakfast with us?” | ask again.
“Mmbh yes.” He responds, but he makes no effort to move, just wraps his arms around my waist and closes his eyes again. We stay like that for a minute before | say anything.
“Uh, Bellamy?” He groans and rolls us over so that I'm on the bed properly before he pushes. himself up onto his elbows. He leans in, kisseson the forehead then sits up.
“I know, breakfast. I'm coming. Just givea minute. Wait here for me.” By the tBellamy is showered, dressed and ready, Aaron and Darrien have both arrived. Although no one has started eating. Clearly they were waiting for us. Megan and | laid out the entire array of breakfast items on the rarely used dining table and now there is the addition of a pot of hot coffee and a bottle of my favourite orange juice. It looks pretty perfect. Bellamy raises an eyebrow.
3/4 110- Early and eating “| see you ladies have been busy. This isn’t quite what | imagined when you said it was tfor breakfast. Good job.” He says approvingly.
“It was Ryann’s idea.” Megan calls out. We all sit down to eat, and it’s just lovely. I've never really had a ‘family meal’ like this. But that’s what it is. | eat until I'm ready to be sick, then I sit back and watch all the others as they absolutely demolish the remaining food. Even Megan, despite being smaller than the guys, doesn’t stop eating until there is nothing left. When they finish I sit back in shock. Darrien is the one who explains.
“Shifter metabolism. We can eat a lot.” | nod my understanding. | guess that makes sense, it’s the sreason Megan gave for not being totally hungover that one time. | suspect | am going to grow to resent that at spoint.
